Of course, there is some irony in that fact, considering the thing's contents. They are scripted in a deft and elegant hand, but they are brutal in their delivery, for they state three things very briefly: that condolences are invited upon the fact of Duke Bromn's recent death; that congratulations are encouraged towards Garrison Bromn, who succeeds to that throne; that the younger son will be returning to Myrken Wood, this fact being significant simply because he is its Governor.
It is intimated, neat the end, that accomodations might be arranged ... as he does not travel alone.
