To: Chief Constable Woburn
I have been remiss in conveying my personal gratitude for your assistance during the Chairwoman's
weeks of recuperation. You will accept my thanks now, I hope: the personnel loaned to our use
provided unconventional services while enduring inopportune hours; their presence was nothing but
professional, and ensured the Chairwoman's security in a manner which the Militia is uniquely
ill-suited to accomplish unassisted.
On the brief oversight of which we have already spoken, I place my faith in your capacity for sanctions;
no more need be said than that.
Subsequent to recent events, the matter remains ongoing. While clearly the Chairwoman is largely
recovered from those injuries sustained a month past, she is yet the recipient of certain threats,
some more credible than not. During this past week, the Militia has supplied her with a small guard
(a standard two-man rotation); this was an inappropriate use of their time when it began, and as of
today it comes to an end. Count yourself notified: I leave to your judgement the question of whether
a Constabulary unit might replace their presence, or if one is required at all.
