He'll open the door for her and stand beside it. "Thank you for the visit -- it was most pleasant, and most enlightening. When she leaves, he'd return to his desk and stare into the remains of the teacup. Anne will bustle around him, clearing the dishes and wiping up any stray crumbs from the tea-biscuit almost immediately (knowing that her boss's fastidiousness will not tolerate cold tea left on a desk for long). He'll be thinking about his next move: pawn, bishop, or queen?
There's a moment when he imagines his head exploding after being pursued down the main drag by a chattering woman. It isn't pleasant.
