Four in the afternoon. The twenty-ninth.

Altias is told.

Ariane is sent hobbling.

A boy is sent running to another boy who is sent running to a horse which is sent running after Treadwell's carriage and four steeds that are sluggishly plodding down the North Passage Down.

Needless to say, the carriage and horses should definitely be intercepted, stopped, convinced of Treadwell's change of heart, and sent back home with some frustrations.

And Treadwell, it seems, has a good deal to pay a good number of folks for his aborted efforts.
