A Teahouse Delivery

Midafternoon brings a boy to the door of Cambree Calomel's teahouse, first to knock, then to cast a wary glance upwards at the chimes that warn those within of his arrival as he gently shoulders open the door. The first person to greet the child is the recipient of a folded note, addressed simply to "Cambree" and a crude wooden box no larger than a prayerbook that bears the initial "C" on it's rough lid. His task completed, the youth is quick to return to the streets of Myrkentown, eager to find additional tasks that might fill his patched pockets with ha'shillings.
You and I touch the sky, the eagle and the dove.

By the time this box arrives, Cambree has already received a note from the squire and a more formal letter, of some apology, from the Shepherd Knight. Much deliberation has been poured into how best to reply to either (or both) of them.

The letter to Malaroth waits, as she has decided to meet her friend at the dress shop first. Maybe Patience will be able to shed light on the man's odd reasoning. Maybe Cambree will reveal a bit more of her business to her friend. The tea lady will need to decide whether it is a worthwhile conversation. Meeting one another in this neutral space is Cambree Calomel's next step toward maintaining their bond of friendship. Will there be others taken?
