A rustle in the woods and a great beast parted the way in the vegetation, pausing for a moment to lower her nose and sniff to the ground. The head lifted, striped in black against a background of light orange. The early spring had her at a disadvantage, maw parted slightly as tongue rested over the bottom row of teeth. She was a Snow Tiger, the biggest subspecies known to man but also the most shy to man. With a paw twice the size of a man’s fist she used her powerful forearms to reach a higher point in the tree along the bark and sniff once more. After a quick grimace of disappointment she let herself drop with the soft thump on the forest floor. A panther, lighter and more agile, would have taken to the trees for transportation. She was a full 800 pounds of fur and muscle with a body and tail 11 feet long. Though she was no stranger to low laying and sturdy branches for a good night’s sleep, a normal climb for a cat would be considered impossible for her. With a fluid motion of power and grace the tiger continued her search around the grounds of the Rememdium Edificium. Nose to the ground and ear perked for any sound.
Aeri had been gone for too long in Freya’s mind. She of course told no one she was going after her as she knew no one else who cared besides the Doctor who had matters of his own. In typical hothead fashion Freya had let caution to the wind and shifted for the first time in a year so that she may use to the gifts given in her more primal form to track down her friend. She had been at this for two days now and she felt close. The scent she followed was very stale but these woods in the back were not well traversed. The smell seemed to head in a southern direction thus far and so she trotted along at an easy gait. Often checking her bearings on tree or rock that held the only like she had to a dear friend.
