Wish I could help! :( What's the error message it's giving?

Okay. Is it just "connection refused" or are you getting some kind of other message?

Okay Paul and/or John, here's what I'd try

Try various starchat servers. All of them. Go to the starchat website (starchat.org or .com I think) and find a list.

If that doesn't work, screw with your connection settings - there are some various personal settings that you can choose different options for, try them. You can't screw anything up by changing them, since you can always change them back. I can't give you specifics from work, since I don't have mIRC to look at, my only advice is that if you go to connections and options, try the different bubbles/check boxes.

If you just installed new antivirus/firewall stuff, try disabling that.

Check the starchat.com FAQ, see if it addresses this issue. Same with mIRC help.

Try changing your IRC port (it's in mIRC options). You'll see it list what port you're trying to connect with in the status window, try increasing the number by one or decreasing it by one.

Hope any of these help.

Yeah, I Tried Most Of The Obvious Options..different Servers, Ports Ect. But I Think It Must Be A Firewall Issue, Because It Not Just Irc That Isn't Working.. I Can't Get Yahoo Messenger Or Any Of The Online Games To Work Either...

Ahhh Well...i Still Have My Work Computer, And The Forums To Keep Intouch.

Jods.

Just poke some holes in your firewall then =D

You can't do that, Dan. You have to use a firehose. It's a firewall, after all! :)

Yeah, definitely a firewall and/or router issue then. Did you recently change ISPs, software, any of that stuff?
