Vacation Dreams

Postby gothicwords » Wed May 07, 2003 2:44 am

Hello All!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be on vacation from May 7 - 20th. The last week and a half leading up to the vacation has been very busy. Packing, working and just daily routine keeping me away from the computer. - I hope to pick the roleplay back up when I return home.
I leave tonight At midnight - est.

In case yer wondering - I'll be in the Carbibbean on a cruise.

Alexi is in good hands while I am away. The Hidden Ones have her resting saftly. <cackles> Story to follow.

Have a great May everyone! And enjoy the warmer weather!! I'll bring home some sunshine and a refreshed spirit and mind. Not to mention a killer Tan! heheh

Jus' be careful that your killer tan doesn't turn into a killer sunburn. :p

Wow. That was...wait, was that short?

...

Err. I dunno! It seemed short. At least for me. But I suppose that's 'cause I've been pretty busy lately.

But anyway, didja have fun?

Don't suppose you got a killer sunburn, didja? That'd be a damned shame.

...a killer tan, on the other hand, would not. :o

Time Flys

Postby gothicwords » Thu May 22, 2003 3:32 am

Time did fly, I left Maine and the tree's were still bare. I came home and they are all lush with green!! I'm having after vacation blues - St Marrtin is so lovely. We spent the day on motor scooters, exploring the island. Orient Beach had to be my favorite. Clothing optional, and ooo my.. was it .. funny. -

I did get a nice Tan, but the tops of my shoulders got a little to red a little to fast.. and now they are peeling.

We had a balcony cabin.. on the Carnival Triumph. Waking up to the sound and sight of the Ocean everyday is the most relaxing experience. I highly recommend cruising to everyone.

I'm looking forward to this summer though! Summer in Maine IS like being on vacation, but never having to leave home to BE on vacation. I can already smell the Salty air..- I'm about 30 minutes from the Atlantic coast. East East East. It's so good to be home. Even though I loved the Tropics, I could never live there. New England is in my blood.

I'll have pictures up .. soon. :)

Oddly enough, I just picked up a t-sirt from St. Martin.
Like pretty much everything else, I now have the t-shirt, even if I have never been there. Evil travel agent parent.

Having the t-shirt is as good as going though, right?

right?

Matthew, what about the natural beauty, the jerk chicken and the crazy drivers who think motor bikes are just large speed bumps?

You should go. Besides I bet your tee-shirt doesn't smell like salt n sweat n.. hehehehe.. like the caribbean.

Sociological studies have proven that some people like St. Martin, while others do not.
