Needed: People with a good imagination

For all those who have been paying attention, a new map is in progress. There is a slight problem though.
At the moment there is one set of 2 islands and 5 mainland countries left to be named. Im sure there is much more imaginative names then I can come up with that deal with both the era and time.

So all in all, Spout em out..Please!

Can you tell us where they are? If they are on the existing map, they may already have names, but just weren't indicated on there.

1-7 need names, anything, be creative
8 Well there is a problem, from the following page <the original site picture> I am unable to decipher the original name. If anyone can help it would be appreciated greatly.

Well, that number three there is at the perfect spot for it to be Lai`Quendelli. It's even got the little stretch of beach to go with it.

8 is Ghreu Fenn, a swampy/bayou-type area.

I do feel that 6 had a name at one point, but I don't recall it and I can't seem to find anything on it in the mess that is my old computer's hard drive.

Now there's a question with all this naming business; should the new mapped areas be new areas, or could players fill them in with places of their character's origin, if no disputes arose?

...and what if they did arise?

Mongrel your a god I couldnt figure that out for the life of me.

Rattrap, I dont see a problem, but that itself, I would have to say it is the owners or ops choice. In my opinion, its the perfect time for a few regulars <like yourself> to choose a name/counrty to help the story line. IF, and I mean IF a dispute did arise, there is always the choice of a poll. That way all the new names could be voted on. As well as that, it wouldnt be just one player choosing, but all who want to have something to do with it.

BUT before any of that can be done, a decent names list is needed, so far, Madel has the right idea <and mongrel, if you find number 6 I will be forever grateful.> I dont want to infringe on the creator of the first map, Im trying to keep most of it the same for that reason..besides the new countries.
