Normally, I wouldn't make a humongous deal of the daily stuff that happens with the fairies of New Hibera, Myrken Wood's neighboring fairy kingdom, but last night was reasonably special. It's my first try at doing something new with the fairies, trying to open them up a little more to public role play--or at least to have them serve as catalysts for the occasional humorous scene. Over the next few weeks, they're going to be working every now and then to be better recognized by the people of Myrken Wood, making appearances here and there while doing all manner of magical mischief, from harmless assistance to harmless fun.
Feel free to join in on the merriment! If you like what you see, act and react to it all in channel or on the forums in your favorite threads! The fun begins with this morning's post, #113, on the "Twelve o'clock and all is Treadwell" thread. It's on the "Foreign Lands: Amasynia" section, due to the earliest posts on the thread having taken place there. Overall, though, there's a great smattering of stuff the fairies have done over night, but if anyone wants to jump in and say they did thus-and-such, great!
The one restriction on these activities is that the fairies aren't going to willingly harm anyone in Myrken Wood, their possessions, their homes, or their pets. Oh, they might just do the occasionally funny thing (very minor polymorph spells or shrinking spells--all temporary--might work, or something equally annoying), but they won't actively hurt any of those funny bigling neighbors.
