Hi everybody.
There has been a lot of roleplay happening recently, which has been fantastic. It's wonderful to see the channel active and energetic. Thank you for creating with one another and taking part!
I wanted to toss a quick reminder out to everyone to please be aware of the sensitivity of certain topics from an out-of-character perspective. Our channel and forums are an outlet for fiction, but it's good practice for us to remember the weight and intensity of the subject-matter we sometimes approach. Our game is home to players and writers from all different walks of life with a number of varying experiences, so be aware that certain topics, concepts, and ideas may not be comfortable for everyone to visit as a writer -- or as an audience.
Please remember to keep subject-matter to a PG-13 standard. While I'm not directly asking us to censor ourselves, subtlety is best. We can still engage with dark themes and events in a way that doesn't detail them overtly. We're capable of handling a bit of language now and then, but some topics may be disturbing -- or even triggering -- to people who aren't expecting to see certain material.
I believe we'll all benefit -- myself included -- from better understanding the strength of our words as we compose them.
Thanks!
