Well it's been four or five years now, and it's time for me to head on away from the Dagger! Best of luck, chums, I know I can talk to all of you right now but I hope some of you will eventually talk to me. I don't hate anybody personally - I think you are all wonderful people and we had alot of fun playing. Any and all of my criticisms were strictly on a professional level, and I'm sorry if they were ever taken personally.
If you had a character involved with mine, I'm still on the server - /query billysheep and we can work stuff out. Or you can contact me on AIM at billysheeps; or billysheep at gmail dot com, or even my lj (username billysheep) and I'll be sure to add ya.
Hey, who knows, I might be back later!

Sorry to see you go.

Hopefully, like most of us, it will only be temporary. Good luck in whatever takes your fancy.

NOOOOOO! BISKEY GOING BYE-BYYYYYE????
But, I understand that, I reckon. I do apologize for any hard feelings regarding the recent plot between Eriks and Treadwell, though. I'm sorry that didn't work out like you'd hoped.
On the up side, come back and see us some time. We need to see more of you, sooner or later.

Unfortunately, unless someone changes their mind pretty drastically (unlikely), my absence is a bit more permanent. I'm still hanging out on starchat though, so drop me a line if anyone wants to talk. I'll also lurk around on here.

AND LO, THERE WAS THAT EVE A SPAT BETWIXT FOUNDER AND PLAYER; AND THE SHEEP AND OPS DID TRY TO KEEP CIVILITY; AND SO THE FOUNDER BECAME SNIDE WITH THE PLAYER, AND THE PLAYER IN TURN BESTOWED SNIDENESS UNTO THE FOUNDER. AND THE FOUNDER DID FROWN UPON THIS, AND DISMISSED THE SHEEP OUT-OF-HAND AND FOR NO REAL RATIONAL REASON.
AND LO, SO THE SHEEP BECAME ANGERED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE CONVERSATION, AND DID CALL IN A SARCASTIC WAY UPON THE FOUNDER'S CHILDISHNESS; AND SO DID THE FOUNDER BAN THE SHEEP, WITH LITTLE CAUSE, REASON, OR REMORSE.
amen.
AAAAAaaaa-aaaah meeeeeeen.

Billy...I know very little about the situation because I'm not around here anymore, but if I were still a Founder or even an Op here, that BB post right there alone would be grounds to see you banned.
If you feel disrespected, that's certainly unfortunate, but I would say that you were just disrespectful yourself.
Like I said, I don't know the first thing about the situation, but based on that post, you seem to be justifying the Op's decision. *shrugs*

I think I have plenty right to tell people why I got banned if they ask.
And it wasn't the op's decision, it was one person's arbitrary decision. Of course the ops are going to want to provide a unified front, and no one can really blame them. I certainly don't!
I'm just a-spreadin' around the good-ah word-ah. HALLELUJA!

True, someone asked why you got banned and you have the right to answer. But I think we can both agree that there are ways to do that respectfully and ways to do that disrespectfully.
A respectful version of what you wrote (and forgive me if I get the situation wrong since I am only going off of your "scripture") is, "The Founder and I had a disagreement. It became heated. We both said some things weren't ideal and, as a result, I got banned."
That gives just as much information without the disrespect. *shrugs* Just one man's opinion.

I'd just like to make a quick reminder of two things: that our guidelines requesting respect towards fellow BDers apply to these boards, as well as to our channels; so do the consequences associated with them.
I agree absolutely that you have every right to tell people why you've been banned -- or anything else, for that matter. Both venue and method of delivery are also your choice -- as they are the choice of any of our other players.
That said: this thread is now closed to further participation. All parties involved are either online presently, or will be in the future; they can also be reached on these forums via its private message function. Please do consider contacting them in person if you have questions about this; I know that ops are always happy to answer any questions that you might have, and I'm sure that Biske is. I personally encourage it. *smiles*
