Heyo, folks. This may or may not come as a shock to you, but I wanted to make it officially known to everyone who might be interested.

The short version is ... I have a lot going on in my personal life; I'm working a lot more than I used to; and I just haven't found the time, inspiration, or motivation to sit down and write, much less roleplay. I still love the BD and its myriad stories and characters, and I still cherish you guys as great friends and great people -- but, right now, I need to focus on me and what's happening in my life, and that unfortunately excludes any involvement in BD-related stuff.

(Which, truth be told, isn't a huge blow to anyone's story, since I'm not really involved in much anyway. Aherm.)

One thing I do want to make everyone aware of, however, is that I will be having surgery to correct an inguinal hernia on June 23rd, and I will likely not be around or available for a few days or so after the procedure. So your thoughts, prayers, etc. will be greatly appreciated, and I might even throw in a cupcake.

That being said ... you're all awesome, and I hope you keep up the absolutely amazing work you do here. This is without a doubt the best roleplaying community I've been a part of.
I'll either find a way or make one.

Thanks for the support and well wishes, folks. It really does mean a lot to me.

But, to eliminate any possible confusion: no, I am not leaving the channel or community; I am simply letting everyone know I am more or less no longer an active part of it until further notice.

Hope that clarifies it for y'all.

Thanks again, everyone.

Quick update.

Heyo, folkses. The surgery went smoothly, and the doctor was very happy with how everything turned out -- ergo, I am happy. I've spent the past couple days resting; today is the first day I've actually been able to move around without experiencing constant pain. One day at a time, though, and I'm sure I won't feel 100% for a while yet. So, again, thanks for your thoughts.

Unless your doctor absolutely forbids it.

Remember.
