Description

Dulcie for the most part is a simple thing to look at, her features are unremarkable for the most part, her skin a soft light olive color in complexion and her eyes a lovely shade of hazel that seems to change colors depending upon the types of clothing she wears, green of course one of her favorites due to the colors it brings out in her eyes. Her hair is pinstraight and a common light brown, or perhaps dark blond color and hangs stick straight down to her waist. On most nights Dulcie wears her hair loose, tucked back behind a kerchief so it doesn't get in her way as she's working.

Background

Dulcie Miller is a simple woman at first appearances.

Dulcie is a Myrken native, born and raised on a farm not more than an hours walk away from the infamous Broken Dagger, however with strict family rules the young woman would not set foot within until her 18th year.

While her farming family is quite large, with thirteen children in all they have for the most part over the years kept to themselvs, which with all things considered about Myrken was probably the reason that all of the children still happen to be living. At 18 Dulcie had first joined the staff of the Broken Dagger as a chambermaid.

After a year of working as a chambermaid Dulcie would have found herself otherwise occupied elsewhere for some time, only to come back 4 years later, returning yet again to find work at the Dagger as a barmaid. Dulcie rarely talks about those years that she spent away from the Dagger, though she readily shares if she's asked a direct question about it. After her return there were many intrigues and trials that the barmaid faced. Kidnapped once during a town wide invasion and vanquishing a vampire in the tavern were only a few of the things that she endured in her time in Myrken. In her time Dulcie had gained something of a reputation for being a "Monster Lover". Certainly there were plenty of rumours surrounding a husband that had passed and a lover that either was or wasn't, but each tale would be more and more unreasonable than the last and it's difficult to pick out what's truth and what is fiction when it comes to the stories of Dulcie's past.

Current

In most recent years Dulcie has moved up in terms of her position at the tavern. When the managing family decided to leave care of the tavern she was asked to take up the position of innkeeper at the Broken Dagger, something which Dulcie readily accepted and has thrived in. In her time as manager Dulcie polished her ability to read and write and had for the most part kept her staff and patrons safe and well fed. She's enjoyed the opportunities she's had to work with merchants and stay abreast of all the new and unusual people that join their little town on a daily basis.
