==Background==
The background of the illusionist was difficult to determine. Rarely did he ever speak of the life he had known before he arrived in Myrken and when he did it was often small tidbits of information, none of which ever really giving away much of anything. Of what the locals have discovered is that he has travelled Kheridan where he had plied his trade with the nobles of that area. He never speaks particularly of why he left, but it was more than clear to most people that it was not his native land, and though he is often heard spoken Kheridian with the servants that returned with him, his accent in the common tongue is so perfect that it's impossible to believe that he comes from anywhere very far away. He is a man of refinement and carries himself with such. It was rumoured at one point that he was a frequent patron to the teahouse, though the girls that worked there were far too discrete to confirm any such tales.

==In Myrken & The Dagger==

Berdini arrived in Myrken in the year 208, suddenly interested in renting the theatre, the Gilded Lily and the cottage that was located beside it. He had no trouble procurring either of these properties and over the years he has come to have a controlling interest in both. Initially in his first few years in Myrken he had been the primary star of the shows that had taken place monthly at the Lily. Having employed a local girl as an assistant he made it clear to his audience that everything he did on stage was true illusion, no actual magic behind any of his acts. Oddly enough the girl had gone missing and Berdini's performances had dwindled, though with an interest in the Lily he had arranged for dancing performances, operas, theatrical plays, most of which were performed by traveling troupes. In recent years it's been rare to see Berdini outside of the theatre.

==Ongoing Story==
Most recently Berdini has been asked by Governor Burnie to take up the position of Councilor of the Arts. It's a position that he's readily accepted and been a vocal supporter of the Governor in most of his endeavors. It's difficult to determine precisely what his motivation has been, but as of late the Councilor's presence has been much less of a rarity.

The wild woman arrived at the Broken Dagger a little more than a year ago. There were days when she had first arrived that she had toyed at humanity, attempted to fit in with the people that she was living beside, but it was more than a chore for her. Her dark skin and hair initially had made people worry that she was closely related to the drow, though with very human looking ears it was impossible to mistake her for one of the dark elves. She was a curious creature really, always dressed in a tanned leather tunic and pants, rarely opting for anything different despite cold or warm weather. It didn't take long for the people of Myrken to push her to reveal her true nature however.

While some might have considered her situation to be a curse, Kacela would insist that it had been a choice for her and though she doesn't know the word for it, the people of Myrken consider her to be a werewolf. In her other form she presents herself as a wolf near the size of a grizzly bear with similar coloring, with thick deep brown fur. It's rare to see her in this manner and some that have were met with a very dangerous situation.

In her time at Myrken Kacela has tried to adapt to some of the human ways. She generally moves about in human form and she has been learning the language and month by month it has been getting better for her. She's adopted an honorary pack member in Catch and she's come to be known by many names, her two favorite being Catch's Dream Lady and Kals' Wolf Star. She insists that names for the namer and not the person who holds them.

She waits in Myrken, hopeful that one day she'll find another of her kind, someone else who holds a wolf spirit within them that could help her to control the volitile situation that she tries to control on a daily basis.
