As playful and happy as can be, Marisa is making the most she can of the afterlife. Cursed with a hunger that cannot be satisfied, it proves to be somewhat of a blessing. For someone who has already died, it seems impossible for her to be so happy. Souls surround this being, seeming nonviolent. As a matter of fact, they seem every bit as playful as she is. Or, perhaps she has made them her slaves?

After her death, she had forgot everything she had known about herself. She had started her life over from the very beginning - to once again be reborn. How had she died? In her first life, she had practiced every dark art possible, and was well known for cursing children, scaring animals away, and causing a ruccus. Did she do it? No. But society had refused to change. They blamed every situation on her, accusing her of that she didn't do. They also expected her to negate any demonic attacks and protect their town from any violent attacks with the same abilities she had learned. Perhaps that is the reason they didn't kill her. She didn't hate them, but disliked how they treated her. In truth, the only thing keeping her from leaving or using her power for truly evil things was the occasional thanks and love she would recieve from those she had helped directly. Some of the elderly wished to be burried next to her house - eventually causing a miniature graveyard, for the reason that regardless of her being a dark magician, using that power for good had perhaps made that home of hers the holiest place available. Eventually, the knowledge she had gained had lead her to using magic not mean't for mortals to use. She had learned the spell of all spells - the spell to invoke death on any living thing - demon or human alike. Upon learning the spell and successfully casting it, she had killed herself in the process. The graves around her house began to stir - from them rised the restless spirits of those she had helped once before - they traveled inside, and had become one with her - had brought her back to life from her death. Perhaps they live on within her - perhaps they had been sacrificed.

A newly born Marisa was quick to leave the strange surroundings - the spell had turned her into a particular kind of undead, one with a endless appetite. And so, she would constantly suffer from hunger for the longest time - working whatever jobs she could and spending all of her money on food, until she would learn her powers. The ability to speak with the dead, the ability to see spirits, the ability to put the dead to rest, the ability to prevent death of living beings, and ultimately, the ability to bring the dead back to life. However... that last one has a tremendous price to pay. A price that hopefully will never have to be found out.

Many were afraid, many were interested, and many seeked help from her. In such, it became easy to make money. So, what was she? A Priestess? A demon? A witch? A human? A friend? A god? A abomination? A zombie?
Her wrists are shreded; scars left from rediculous damage that had been done. Ankles were in the same condition. Bodily scars have yet to be seen. Always appearing to be emotionless - possibly even angry, her lack of social skills and lack of beauty are the only downfall she has. Although, any dwelling or thoughts on the matter would be destroyed, if one would taste her food or drinks. Her true talents shine when it comes to exotic alcoholic drinks.

Aerin is a domesticated demon, unlike demons in literally every aspect. The only proof of being a demon that is clearly evident is her horns, and her sickening energies when she uses them.

She wears a blue dress, which seems to be worn almost every day. Around her waist, a gigantic metal leash, with several links of chain connected to the front. On her back, a jug, containing an awkward substance that nobody has verified as anything lethal - or helpful. A blue ribbon is tied to one of her two horns. She herself is three feet tall; although the horns make her about four feet tall. She attends school at the church, although with due time she'll need more expensive schooling to reach new heights.

Nothing is known or proven as fact about her past. There are popular theories about where she came from, supported by logical conclusion, still unproven. The future and more digging around may yield the facts.

Shes amazingly destructive, although that nature doesn't show at all behind her usual personality. Her first personality revolves around the ideas and rules of being good; helping people, showing kindness, and trying to make unhappy people happy. The second personality follows similarly to most demons.

Her real parents are unknown as well, and she is blindsided to that fact. However, under her own confusion, she has met several individuals who care for her in different ways. Ignas Demonsbane is her father - in her eyes. Aloisius Treadwell is her grandfather figure. Both have helped her in several different ways. Brothers, sisters, and otherwise have yet to be identified - and perhaps will not.

Aerin is not a serious person. She is fun-loving, and thinks with the heart before the mind. Being a demon, this is an extremely awkward situation. She is either a demon disguised as a child to hide into society for the advantage point; or she is honestly a loving creature, created under the wrong circumstances. Perhaps both. Only time will tell the future for her.
