All's Well That Ends Well - a term that fits this sheep child's personality most suitably. Of course he's not some sort of stuffed creature; Wells, as he likes to be called (for he has -two- of them in his name) is, quite obviously, a living and breathing entity - no matter how doll-like he looks.

The Sheep Boy
This child is so small, a perfect human in miniature - save for dainty, tiny cloven hooves, the stubby, four-fingered hands, the barest hint of a muzzle, comically rounded ears, a wooly tail; covered in fleece-like fur, as lithe and muscular as a dancer, or acrobat. Despite his child-like appearance and acts, there is a maturity to his body that belies that label. But he cannot tell you how old he is; for he has no concept of numbers above five, and has long lost interest in the changing of the seasons - though he abhors the coming of winter. He wears a doll's clothes, so small is he - ill-fitting things, seemingly stolen and hastily fashioned to fit his tiny frame.

History
Long ago, in a land far far away - let it be known as Barras, and leave it at that - there lived what may be known as a utopian society; even though it was lead by men, and women, most cruel. There were many persons of such prestige, of all races; one could certainly *boast* that Barras was blind to the very subject of race. Vampires and Werewolves consorted with Demons, Humans, and Elves, in grand balls of such sweeping nature that the High Courts of other nations would be put to shame. For this class, these Highborne, were all wizards and witches most powerful. This perfect society was *run* buy their magics, and they need not lift a finger for themselves.

But though they did not discriminate through physical differences, or color of skin, they were most heartless when it came to those who were born without the magics they weilded like selfish children. Siblings were shunned, entire families heartlessly abandoned to fend for themselves in slums outside the Utopian City, if they were not *lucky* enough to possess the Power. In these crawling settlements, people would vanish, *disappear* ... and through these unfortunate souls, those who were not immortal lengthened their youth and vitality; to revel in their hedonistic lives for another decade, or to create beautiful monstrosities to amuse and serve them.

Through this a toy was created; a gift to a pair of girl-twins on their namingday. Even the Highbourne admired this work of art, this perfect melding of lamb and human, as he was revealed. And only as time went, and as he grew, did the flower blossom even more. He was raised in innocence, in ignorance - forever a play-thing for his little girls. He was never discarded or cruelly shoved away, even as they too grew into adulthood. He was *cherished*, and loved; taken everywhere, to swirling parties and booming concerts, to Market ventures and parades, wearing nothing but the finest of clothes and eating the richest of foods.

There was a murmuring that grew to angry words; angry words into angry roars. Roars from opressed voices, taken to swirling heights, turned into the merciless words of fire. Revolution was whispered; the destructive magics the Highbourne once used to lord over the non-gifted twisted out of their control as they tried to call on it once more, to quell the screaming masses; *destroying* all.

Is it odd this lamb-child was smuggled away, stolen in the midst of that terrible night by these angry mobs? He had been found, this delicate thing; his eyes unable to understand what had happened, what *was* happening? He was hated, for he represented slavery without protest; but they did not kill him in that burning hall where his Masters had died, carrying him away instead. Barras was destroyed. Looting, panic; the same hedonism that the Highbourne had displayed turned, insidious as they entered the Rebels who had fought against such things.

He was frightened. So many changelings like he were having their blood split; were weeping as horrible things he did not understand were done to them. Of them all, he was the smallest; of them all, he alone had the wits to escape; an independant streak that had been *enouraged* by the girls that had lovingly raised him.

And he lived happily ever after, to the end of his days... but in truth he has spent those days wandering the world, a child of light and purity; in some ways, unable to fathom how his fortunes have changed... but living life, reveling in every day, as only he truely can.
Physical Description
Gabriel is a young man of about 19 years. His most startling feature is the fact that he suffers from a form of albinism - his skin is fair, almost white, with a scattering of pale freckles across the bridge of his nose; every hair on his body is a transluscent blond, very nearly white; and his eyes are a pale, watery blue. He is of average build, being about 5'8, with a lean, muscular build.

His hair is incredibly fine, a mess of loose curls, either pulled in a sloppy tail or allowed to flow free around his shoulders. He has a oblong face, with high cheekbones, a narrow jaw, and a pointed chin; nose small and rather stubbed. His clothing is unchanging - brown and white habits of rough-spun wool, like that or a priest, worn with trous of darker brown, the legs tucked into his pride and joy - rather high-class, pointed riding boots of rich black leather. He's almost never seen without rounded spectacles, the poor lad almost blind without them. During the more sunny days, he normally keeps his cowl up, to shade his face.

Personality/History
Gabriel is, like many monks raised into their Callings, rather sheltered - having lived his entire life for the serving of the One True Faith. He had, like so many orphans, been dumped upon the chruch's doorstep. His life has been one of quiet contemplation, simple living, hard work, and study - and for all the lad knows from books and learning, he's still quite naive. Though he is quiet and studious, lately he's taken to using his free time to head out of town to the nearby Broken Dagger. Underneath his quiet exterior, Gabriel fairly bursts with curiosity.

These are all lies
Monty is the most dashing, daring Boy Hero, noted slayer of All Things Evil and Dastardly. He's at least eight feet tall, no, wait, nine. Also he has pretty big muscles, so you'd better not make fun of his face or anything, because he will totally kill you. He is admired by all the hot women, though he's not quite sure why that's a good thing, only all the heros he's heard of tend to have hot women. Gross.

Also you'd better not make fun of his cat, Monty Junior. Or else he'll kill you.

He'll also kill you if you say anything bad about Mikhail or Molly O'Neill. Molly is sort of okay he guesses, but she needs to seriously lay off the kissing and baths. Gross.

Description
Physical
Monty is a young boy of about nine or ten, standing at about four feet tall and weighing 60 pounds. Contrary to most of Myrken's human population, the young lad is of a rather swarthy complexion, being fairly, and distinctively, dark. He has high cheekbones and a wide jaw, chin narrowing to an almost sharp point, and wide-set eyes of a contrasting pale blue - standing out rather startlingly from his dark features. His ears are large with no discernable lobes, jutting out from his skull rather awkwardly. His red-brown hair, lighter than his skin, is rather messily chopped off on top, though the back flows out into tight curls descending all the way to the boy's waist - indicating a self-done job. Even with good and constant feeding the boy remains scrawny, though his muscles have begun bulking up and he has grown taller.

Perhaps the boy's most distinctive feature is his cleft lip, a deformity that makes it difficult for him to pronounce some words and letters and twists his upper lip into a permanent sneer.

Personality
Young Monty is, perhaps, the most irritating orphan-boy ever to grace the town of Myrken. He's incredibly full of himself, certain of his combat prowess and obsessed with rather violent, and bawdy, tales of heroism. The boy is remarkably oblivious when it comes to matters of the opposite sex, except when attempting to 'put them in their proper place'.

He has a learned hatred of all girls and women that goes far beyond the normal dislike of young boys and ascends almost into the realm of parody - though he seems dead serious about his views. He is a boy too eager and impatient to grow up in order to begin slaying dragons and evil necromancers. Though not stupid, the boy is impossibly ignorant, even with attempts to beat some knowledge into his head.

History
Monty was 'found' by Molly O'Neill chopping up the Dagger's porch, and since then he's become the tavern's official stable boy, living with her and Mikhail.

Jerint is an elderly man who appears to be in his late fifties or early sixties. he has short-cropped black hair, shot through with white and grey, and often goes for days before shaving, thus leaving a field of black-and-white stubble across his cheeks and chin.

He is a well-built man, about six feet tall, still managing to maintain a muscular figure - though he has a noticable pouch to his midsection. His face is heavily lined with age and his skin is leathery and tanned from exposure to the elements. He has a square jaw and chin, wide cheekbones, and a crooked, roman-shaped nose. He can be seen wearing common, peasant clothing, with a coat of a deep, rusty red.

His left leg up to his knee and thigh is strapped into and confined by a bronze brace, which presumably aids him in walking - though, oddly enough, there doesn't appear to be any way to remove the contraption, and in fact appears to be attatched -into- the man's leg. Whether he's able to walk at all without or, or if it is indeed the source of the man's limited mobility, is anyone's guess. Either way, he appears to be at least in discomfort, if not outright pain, most of the time he's up and about.

Another oddity is the completely tame rabbit that appears to be attatched to the old man - a thin, starved-looking thing of bone and whipcord that nevertheless bears the scars of numerous encounters with cats, dogs, hawks, and other, wild rabbits. It's own brown fur is also peppered with grey, and seems to live in luxury on a diet of leftover food and whiskey. Though he is certainly affectionate to the animal, the rabbit appears to have no name given to it.

Jerint has been a semi-hermit of minor noteriaty in Myrkentown for some time. His farm contains a small plot of farming land and a byre and field for cows, though he currently keeps only one crotchety she-goat for milk and cheese and a mule for transport. What he grows he either consumes or saves; but sometimes he'll makes the trip to Market, or to the Broken Dagger for a drink and a friendly word. Not much else is known about him.

Recently, his own health, the drought of 205 AR, and the Insect and Drow invasion of 206 has proved harsh for the old man, destroying much of what he has tried to grow and leaving his prospects for self-sufficiency and independant living rather slim. He has already received multiple requests from the Church to retire into their care, which he has been able to politely rebuke so far.

He is a massive minotaur, large for even one of his kind, reaching at some point over eight feet - nine and a half, if you count his enormous, forward-curving horns. His face reselmbles that of a fighting bull; his neck is thick and arching, a humped thing, leading into wide, slab-like shoulders and graced with a ridge of a black mane. His muscular arms are relatively long compared to his body, three-fingered hands reaching almost to his knees - his legs, short and crooked, though not less muscular, ending in enormous, cloven hooves. He is mostly hairless, his skin a brown-black; thick, harsh fur grows on his forearms and hooves.

He wears an almagation of leather and steel plate, across abdomen and chest; a massive leather pauldorn and armguard gracing his right, a tattered cloak of fine, blue material across the left. A plated belt holds a modest loincloth of the same blue; his upper legs bare, the lower protected by leather and plate. He carries an enormous sword - as if two serrated blades had been weilded to the same hilt, crossguard decorated with a demon horse's skull, a pair of curling horns twining about the grip.

His voice is a perfect example of his personality - flat and monotone. Far from being the strong, stupid type, Choss is almost frighteningly intelligent and cunning - which is how he got to be the Company's leader in the first place, being far, far underestimated.
His hair is a neatly cropped mass of curls, the roots bordering on dark brown while the tips are a sun-bleached, almost-white blond. His narrow eyes are a rather startling pale-green. His neat beard is trimmed in a the goatee style, against skin long tanned rough by the sun.

His clothing is invariably rich, decorated with the unmistakeable knots and stylized decorations of the North; needlepoint horses of all shapes, colors, and styles are prominant. He reflects the heavier, northern styles of dress, using layers of clothing and armor to project both power and status, and yet practical for times in the trenches or on the field of battle. Spurs are nearly always an addition to highly-polished black boots, as is a rather plain, though battlescarred, sword.

Personality/History
The General is a stolid man by choice. Being the youngest son of the House Sleipner, there was little he could do to choose his own vocation; his eldest brother was to inherit, the second in line would be his steward, the third was a wizard, the fourth a priest. Spreading the House's influence as far and wide as possible, it was inevetible that the young lad would find himself packed away to Officer's school; the last time he saw his House, and family, again.

Eriks was a quick study, keeping away from the other trainee's antics and dedicating himself to his books and weapons work. He had an uncanny knack for strategy on a small scale, but no talent, really, with larger armies; that, combined with his family's almost supernatural skills with horses, left him impressed into the Cavalry upon recieving his command. His father, in silent praise for his youngest son, sent him the family's pride and joy; the stallion Hrimfax, a massive, unruly beast that the young Eriks himself could barely contain. But he had a fierce joy in riding impossible, free-spirited horses, and treasured the beast despite the complaints of his men and horse-boy.

Riishya is an odd mixture of unicorn and human - a creature with a foot in both worlds. He stands at about seven feet tall, being rather willowy and looking all out of porportion. His head and ears are heavy and large is a draft horse's, with a convex, roman muzzle; his neck thinner and arching; his arms, legs, and torso lengthy and without any discernible muscle. His hands only claim two fingers and a thumb; his feet, digitigrade. He has a singular, twisting horn hutting from his forehead - a transluscent thing that always glows a steady, pale blue. His tail is long and flexible, resembling something of a lion's tail, though the "tuft" extends almost the entire length. He possesses two other limbs; a pair of wings, truely gigantic in their span, though it is uncertain if they are large enough for actual flight (he has used them to push himself from the ground to the air in a fantastic jump - so he may be able to glide on them).

He has no <i>actual</i> body fur, but the coloring if his skin is resembling something of a white grey with black points - his muzzle, mane, tail, and feathering is black, as are the enormous wings sprouting from between his shoulderblades. The prevalent white of his skin is a pale, transluscent thing; almost giving off it's own light, with not a blemish to mark it. Soft black curls feather his chest; running down the length of his arms and wrists, his thighs and hocks, to gather around his padded, two-toed feet. His mane is a wild thing, though it doesn't seem to be hopelessly tangled; leaves and flowers are scattered throughout, as if sprouting from curled, black ground.

He is known to wear little, though he does possess a silk skirt of blood-red, girded by a golden belt - attatched to that belt is a massive sword that the Lord seems to carry easily, despite it's weight. Oddly enough, the thing looks, and <i>feels</i>, quite evil - a maelovent presence that Riishya patiently ignores. He has never been seen to draw the weapon.

History/Personality
Riishya is both quiet and powerful, a mess of contrasts; he is passion, joy, innocence - yet he is also vengance, rage, corruption. He is a lesser being, spawned by the brief passions of a shape-shifted mother and the young lord she loved; for the woman-unicorn, nothing but a brief love that was soon washed away in the long thoughts of all immortals. Riishya had been born, after a hundred years; and after the thousand that has passed in his birth, the Forest Lord has been the duality of long, immortal carelessness and the brief, passionate mortal.

He has been a watcher, for hundreds of years; hovering on the edge of humanity, drawn to them, yet unable to enter their lives. Briefly he had done so - he had emerged angry, confused, bogged down by the depression, the idea of <i>loss</i> that so many unicorns fail to grasp. He came away with a sword, but he left something far more precious behind.

Now he roams the Myrken's forests, his self-proclaimed domain; he fights against the insect invasion with his own inherent powers. If he will actually step out to aid the townsfolk intheir time of need to enter humanity once again? That is more uncertain.
His name is derived from the French tale known simply as "Bisclaveret", or "The Werewolf".

Despite being involved in numberous plots and suffering many injuries, Biske's pessimistic outlook and personality (if he ever had one) has changed little. A self-proclaimed coward, Biske nevertheless manages to save the day once or twice. And, much to his dismay, he has recieved no monetary rewards for doing so. As of June 7, 2006, Biske has been cured of his werewolfism.

The Nature of the Beast
Biske - as he is known - is a tall, lanky man of obvious northern peasant stock, being pale of skin with hair and eyes of unremarkable brown. He stands at about the six-foot-four of an ectomorphic body type, many times looking quite emaciated even when he is eating consistantly. His hands are unusually large, even for his height, with long fingers and pink, burn-healed skin. His hair is quite long and curled, wild, and tangled - oftentimes with various objects stuck in it, such as sticks and leaves. His scraggled, poorly-trimmed beard hides a receeding chin and powerful jaw. His brow and features are lined with stress and age, a bit of silver appearing at his temples and peppered throughout his beard.

He is positively covered in scars; many times they completely replace the original skin. Noted scars include the tangled mass at and around his neck, including a burn-mark of linked chains; numerous small scars across his face, as if he'd been gnawed upon; a long, gashing scar across his abdomen; masses of scars about his ankles and arms; back, and sides, completely covered with the cruel, thick trails of a whip. There are many more, most inflicted upon himself while he had transformed. He has extensive, healed burn-marks across his entire body, where the skin is bright pink and tender. His left eye is missing, leaving a gaping hole.

The man is most noted for his coats; a sturdy one of forest green that was later destroyed by the werewolf Phaedra; one made of tanned hide and fur, made for him by DaisyDreams; and a longcoat of dark blue, with wide cuffs. His clothing is usually filthy, ill-fitting, and one tear away from falling apart, save for his sturdy boots. He has a long, trailing cloak of deer hide, another gift from the enigmatic Stood-as-One, and in turn gifted to Daisy.

He carries a rather evil-looking axe of obvious drow origin, being apparently carved from obsidian and laced through with spiderwebs of silver; the double-headed blade being in the shape of bat wings - the centerpiece, a spider who's legs form vicious spikes, and who's head is that of a grinning, horned skull. It's uncertain just how he managed to find it, though it is known that Lokelei aided him in some fashion, and that he found it somewhere in Audmathus's old haunt (see Cowardice).

Biske seemed, at first, to be more stable now that the werewolf curse afflicts him no longer, revealing himself to be rather quiet, meek man - certainly far from the sniveling, explosive man he once was. But due to the influx of formerly lost memories unleased by the curing, Biske seems to be growing more and more off. He has ceased sleep altogether, catching only a few catnaps now and then, and has become increasingly paranoid and unstable.

Lately the man has become almost completely mentally broken - a combined effort between his desire to atone for his past transgressions and Quincy Randall's death; his axe's desire for revenge against the drow; and the subtle, yet effective, efforts of Jirai, Suede Roschen, and (to a lesser extent) Audmathus. Yet he retains a resolute, honest love for the werewolf DaisyDreams - something that causes him a constant struggle, between fulfilling his self-imposed mission and mad ideals - and the quieter yearning to settle with the wolf-woman and their charge, the boy Korlin.

Current Dealings
* He was recently healed of his curse by Bryce Larose, though he had murdered in order to do so, and when faced with the justice of the Brotherhood of Janeiro or the local Garou Coven, he chose the latter. However, as he was being escorted by Phaedra, his axe suddenly appeared in his hands and he disappeared into the shadows as easily as any drow.

* Utterly convinced that the Judiciary Council were not only puppets of the drow but drow themselves, he set out to obtain confessions and dispense 'justice' to Council employees - leaving warning notes upon the bodies under the guise of The Beast. These confessions he sent to the Brotherhood, though not with the desired effect.

* After attacking Coriolanus Helstone in a drunken rage (believing him to be Audmathus), he was later arrested (after a brief scuffle) by Maxwell Bishop and Captain Kerrak al'Nerun. The Hand of Myrken Wood interviened and attempted to remove Biske to their own camp, claiming he would not recieve a fair trial, but were out-manned by the Brotherhood. He was removed to the Gaol.

* After a period of two weeks, Biske was later released by Bishop into the custody of DaisyDreams. He awaits a promised trial.

* Biske was one of many sucked into the strange Chimera dream; there he murdered the dream-Suede, only to in turn be destroyed by the dream-Jirai. However, instead of Suede's name being tattooed into his arm, there was a drow's - one by the name of Vet Barran'ar.

* Biske, suddenly faced with Quincy Randall's unexpected return, is overjoyed - and has gained a new level of confidence, becoming more aggressive - if a bit more paranoid.

* Coriolanus Helstone, through his bodyguard Rosamaria Rameriz, has extended an unknown offer towards Reagan that he has taken up in full confidence. He has shared his suspicions and evidence with the pair of Suede and Jirai's involvement with the drow invasion, apparently much to the pair's satisfaction.

* In a confrontation between Coriolanus Helstone, Rosamaria Rameriz, the drow Vet (who Biske claims to be no other than one Suede Roschen), and Jirai, Biske came off the worse - requiring a four-week stay in the Rememdium.

* In the recent call for nominees, Reagan Biske entered himself in the race, garnering two nominations along with his own. Despite this apparent popularity, he was dismissed on the grounds of being a murderer and known madman.

Trivia
* In spite of being a big wuss, it has been claimed that Reagan Biske has recieved the most battle-related injuries of any character still alive in the Broken Dagger.

* Number of times Biske's clothes have fallen/been ripped off: 63

* Biske's left eye was removed, and later devoured, by Audmathus.

* Biske has had his nose broken eight times since his inception - three of those instances caused by himself while drunk.

* He has only actually been confined in the Gaol once or twice.

The tales of Colonel Solomon John Jacob Jeremy Law MacAllister the Third, Esq. are nearly legendary, being known throughout the land as the premiere Mouser and Rat-catcher in the known world and the undisputed Hero of the Redallian Wars - at least, if one travels through the right circles. Mice and rats fear him, toms want to be him, and queens think they can change him.

Solomon John is a rather dapper example of a long-haired manx cat, hailing from the tiny Isle of Manne off the north coast of Amasynia. He stands at about a foot and a half, and weighs six pounds. His coat is luxurous, a soft brown-grey that sports darker tabby markings; muzzle, chin, and throat sporting a silky white bib, looking almost like a beard. His whiskers are carefully maintained, kept neat and waxed. When not on call, the manx sports a rich coat of velvet red and yellow-cream, small, highly-polished shoes, and carries a distinguished, gold-tipped cane. Those golden eyes are the last sight of many a rodent and pest on this mortal earth.

He is descended from Royalty, though the tom is far too modest to bring it up; his mother was the ruling Queen of Manne. Though he was only one kitten in a sea of many litters born to Her Royal Majesty, even from birth it was obvious that he would be something far more special than just another wandering male. His wit, athletic abilities, and reflexes were praised even at a young age; however, as his Naming ceremony was completed, he quitely slipped away from court life and into the Wilds.

He dabbled in many things during this time, wandering as males are wont to do; serenading young, blushing females from the roof-tops, stalking wild hares upon the gently rolling hills, and even spending time in human company, hunting rats and mice and other such verminous beasties. It was here his reputation grew as a first-rate Mouser, and many a farmer would glow with happiness to see the distinctive magnificence of his form stalking about their fields and barns.

These were happy times, but they, like all things, were not to last; for a vicious evil rose in the depths of the earth, an ancient enemy of all catdom - a shadowy threat known only as the Adversary. He grew powerful even as the cats of Manne grew fat in their complacency, save for those like Solomon who chose to live in self-imposed exile. Casting a covetous eye over the cat's domain, his jealousy and rage grew - for the Adversary had once been a cat, until his wicked ways caused him to be cast down into the depths of hell. Twisted beyond recognition, he and his minions led a slaughter against cat and man alike.

The Redallian Wars began, and the tom was the first to answer the call. The humans cowered in their villages and homes, terrified of the howling evils outside; it was up to the cats of Manne to rescue their island, and to stop the demon spread from devouring the world. Many lives were lost, many battles fought - until the final fight in the depths of the earth, the Demon-cat's domain itself. Solomon's claws were not the only ones to dig into the Adversary's rotting flesh, whiskers singed from the hellish fires, but he and his command crushed the Adversary, thehell-cat's shadowy minions disappearing like ghosts upon the wind.

Hailed as a hero, Manne had been saved at the price of so many of its cats; perhaps it was this reason, and the fresh memory of the desperate battle with the Adversary, that the tom quietly quit the Isle - begining life anew as a ship's cat. Always the wanderer he, though older and fatter, Solomon now comes to Myrken Wood eager for hunting prospects.

His neck is thick with muscle, arching almost into a perfect curve; his head relatively small, compared to his body, but the muzzle exagerated and bearing wicked teeth and enormous nostrils - all the better for drawing precious air into massive lungs. He trusts only Eriks, and only then obeys him sometimes; he is difficult for even the General to handle, when he is in the midst of blood-lust. But there is true affection between the two, a deep bond that is obvious to even the most casual observer. His time in Myrken has left him fretting, apparently missing the fields of battle where he feels most at home. His greatest joy, currently, are the wild rides through Myrken's forests - and they have been less frequent of late, due to Eriks' responsibilities.

The Myrken Militia
An organization of farmers, merchants, and craftsmen; they volunteer their arms, and their lives, in the defense of Myrkentown.

Organization
The Militia is loosely based upon an actual army; save for the fact that the highest 'rank' is sergeant, and the man (or woman) who fills said rank is voted in by his troops, and can just as easily be removed by them in extreme cases. The man with the final word is General Eriks DeMord Sleipner, their titular leader and 'General' - simply because he has the military experience, and willingness, to command such a force. There are many more people who appear to be in charge, as they are split by groups of tens and hundreds, but these have no actual rank (though they have respect).

Brotherhood of Janeiro
The Militia and the Brotherhood work together closely; the Militia bolsters their numbers when they are needed, and the Brotherhood provides training and arms (as well as the Lothbury Estate).

Purpose
The bulk of the Militia have been known to be roused and assembled in less than forty minutes, though it's entirety would take about four hours (considering the outlying farms that must recieve the summons, arm themselves, and arrive at their designated area). They defend the town in emergencies; this is their primary function. It is rarely that they participate in Brotherhood-like activities, save for training missions.

Lately, however, men have been put on rotating shifts, aiding the Brotherhood whenever possible and setting sentries up around town.

Numbers
Once numbering about five thousand, recent strife has left the people's Militia mortally wounded; only about eight hundred remained under the General, the rest either quiting to tend to their families, or forming their own warring factions.
Introduced to the Broken Dagger in 2001, Biske didn't actually start play until 2002. He needed a character. Always mildly interested in werewolves, and bieng a big fat furry, Reagan Biske was the first character of Biske's to be made for the game.

*At about four hours past noon on August 9, Jerron ClearWater Jr. was seen entering the Broken Dagger for his usual ale. The bar was empty except for an unidentified stranger who left the bar shortly thereafter. A half hour later, the bartender(name not disclosed) working the shift found him dead at the bar with his throat slit. The only clues to who did this are a bloody, oak staff and knife left at the bar. The last person in the bar before the body was found was Cringe DarkBlayde who is now in the possesion of the local authorities. --Cringe DarkBlayde 22:25, 9 August 2006 (EDT)

* On the evening of Aug. 1st, there was a tussle in the tavern over Biske. Maxwell Bishop and Kerrak al'Nerun both wanted Biske to pay for his crimes in the Myrkentown Gaol, but Gerard`De`Santiago declared that the Judiciary Council was corrupt and thus so was the law - he wanted to take Biske to the camp of The Hand of Myrken Wood, where he would be judged "fairly". Several prominent people, both bystanders and not, orbited the scuffles that took place, including D'ran, Ariane Emory, Sithis, Dias, Braunwyn, Mikhail, Cinnamon, and Terregothe. An attempt to steal away Biske by Gerard`De`Santiago was made while Bishop was engaged with Mikhail momentarily, but it failed when soldiers from the Brotherhood of Janeiro surrounded the place. Biske was confined in the Gaols, refusing even medical treatment, and Gerard De'Santiago returned to his camp after promising Biske that The Hand would help him. Normal Dagger inebriation commenced after the din had died down. --Faded`Volt 07:38, 2 August 2006 (EDT)
Introduced to the Broken Dagger in 2001, Biske didn't actually start play until 2002. He needed a character. Always mildly interested in werewolves, and bieng a big fat furry, Reagan Biske was the first character of Biske's to be made for the game.

Biske currently resides in the Gaol, awaiting trial - or justice.

There have been various murders seemingly commited by the same person, known only as 'the Beast', and most often as the deceased Quincy Randall. It seems to be doing so to spread news. So far it has claimed the councilmen as traitors, specifically Coriolanus Helstone - but lately it has also claimed that the entire -Council- is made up of the drow, and has called Audmathus out.

Nothing else is known of the murderer, save that it is able to get past locked doors without tampering, and it seems to be limiting it's efforts to those connected with the Council in some way, no matter how insignificant.

Due to their similar claims and motivations, it has been suspected that Reagan Biske is the one behind the Beast - which was later confirmed in Maxwell Bishop's hearing.

It's uncertain just how he managed to find it, though it is known that Lokelei aided him in some fashion, and that he found it somewhere in Audmathus's old haunt.

Biske currently resides in the Gaol, awaiting trial - or justice.

Coriolanus Helstone is, quite simply, a very good lawyer.

Known to friends as 'Cory,' Helstone is a native of a well-established family in the eastern Amasynian town of Collingford. He studied law at a prestigious university there before setting up a private practice in Myrkentown.

He prides himself in maintaining a high level of sartorial fastidiousness, and has a wardrobe to be admired. On the town or in the courtroom, his hair is always perfect and his hands always neat; visitors to his office are known to notice its remarkable state of cleanliness.

To support his high standard of living, Helstone is a prolific worker, helping Myrkenites settle and process real estate disputes, draw up wills, mediate controversies and fix the day-to-day affairs of town, and has also spent quite a bit of time in trial as both prosecution and defense in criminal cases. Although he is not known to take pro-bono or charity cases, his fees are not known to be too exorbitant. For most affairs, at least.

Helstone keeps a brusque, businesslike exterior, but is generally a pleasant and genial face to meet around town. He is shy rather than suave when it comes to women, and remains a quiet but effective voice when speaking out about matters of Myrken Wood law, which he does quite often. He prefers diplomacy to swordplay and frowns on military solutions when lawful, book-borne resolutions can be gained. He also has a bit of a ruthless streak, although for the most part it is sublimated beneath layers of propriety; it is not seen often.

After a few alarming encounters, he hired a childhood friend, Rosamaria Ramirez, to serve as his personal security, and has been rarely seen without her in public.

Helstone spends a great deal of time in conversation with all sorts of people at the Broken Dagger, where he is known to drink black tea and the finest whiskey, and currently serves on the Myrken Wood Judiciary Council as the Councilor of Administrative Sanctions.

Currently
In mid-July, after a public speech that placed him as a visible and somewhat trusted authority figure to the Myrken people -- Helstone and his guard Rosamaria were abducted by the drow, and he was forced by Audmathus to write a letter implicating various citizens of Myrken Wood as traitors and the country of Thessilane as an enemy. Since his return at the beginning of August, he has disavowed the letter -- but the damage has been done.

There have been two recent attempts on Helstone's life: one, by Biske, who believes Helstone is Audmathus, and another, by an unknown assailant claiming to be a errand-boy of Suede Roschen.

He has also been seen in the company of Guili Maria N'Aralon and other rumors place him as visiting Alli and Reverie in the Myrkentown gaol before their dissappearance.

He and Rosamaria are currently staying with Maria and her landlord, Kish until other arrangements can be made, thanks to the unfortunate catapulting of their Baker Street building in mid-July.

Cases
-- In the summer of AR 205, Helstone served as counsel during a trial accusing then-Governor Altias Bromn, his bodyguard Ariane Carnath-Emory, and tavern bartender Mikhail of multiple counts of murder outside the Broken Dagger tavern. He secured a complete acquittal on grounds of self-defense and extenuating circumstances.

-- That fall, Helstone represented Councilor Suede Roschen when the Councilor was accused by Straka Captain Thomas Daniels of black-market activity and a possible slaying. Roschen has since been reinstated to the Council, and Helstone remains tight-lipped about his involvement with that matter.
Introduced to the Broken Dagger in 2001, Biske didn't actually start play until 2002. He needed a character. Always mildly interested in werewolves, and bieng a big fat furry, Reagan Biske was the first character of Biske's to be made for the game.

Origin
Reagan Biske's name is derived from the French tale known simply as "Bisclaveret", or "The Werewolf", and shows the original intentions of the character - that is, a brave and riteous knight who happens to also be a werewolf. Deeming this "totally boring", Biske dumped the idea and completely rehauled the character to his currently cowardly, filthy state.

Description
Physical
Biske is a tall, lanky man of obvious northern peasant stock, being pale of skin with slightly curly hair and eyes of unremarkable brown. He stands at about the six-foot-four of an ectomorphic body type, many times looking quite emaciated even when he is eating consistantly. His hands are unusually large, even for his height, with long fingers and thickly callused palms. His hair is quite wild, being tangled or with various objects stuck in it, such as sticks and leaves. His scraggled beard and muttonchops hide a receeding chin and powerful jaw. All in all, for a man in his forties, Biske shows little indication of aging, save for a few worry-wrinkles.

He is positively covered in scars; many times they completely replace the original skin. Noted scars include the tangled mass at and around his neck, including a burn-mark of linked chains; numerous small scars across his face, as if he'd been gnawed upon; a long, gashing scar across his abdomen; masses of scars about his ankles and arms; and many more, most inflicted upon himself while he had transformed. Due to the influx of formerly lost memories unleased by the curing, however, Biske seems to be growing more and more off. =Original Website Description and Picture=

Nothing much is known about this man that showed up in Myrken one unremarkable day. It wasn't long until he was uncovered as a werewolf, a cruel fate that had torn his life away in a distant land nearly twenty years ago. Forced to live on the fringes of normal society since then, the man seems more dog-like than wolf; scrounging in garbage cans, begging charity, raiding chicken coops when he gets the chance. And yet when the full moon rises, his true nature is revealed.

He lives as he's always done since the sickness took him those two decades ago; a fawning, drunken, moraless, cowardly creature. And yet there are those rare instances in which he strides into danger, determined and strong - for those he has come to call friends. But even in those rare times there is doubt.

Description

He has extensive, healed burn-marks across his entire body, where the skin is bright pink and tender. His left eye is missing, leaving a gaping, uncovered hole.

The man is most noted for his coats; a sturdy one of forest green that was later destroyed by the werewolf Phaedra, and most currently one made of tanned hide and fur, made for him by DaisyDreams. His clothing is usually filthy, ill-fitting, and one tear away from falling apart, save for his sturdy, mud-specked hobnail boots. He also wears a long, trailing cloak of deer hide, another gift from the enigmatic Stood-as-One.

It's uncertain just how he managed to find it, though it is known that Lokelei aided him in some fashion, and that he found it somewhere in Audmathus's old haunt.

Personality/History
Despite his mental imbalance, it has been proven that the man is almost impossible to emotionally shake. He seems to be more stable now that the werewolf curse afflicts him no longer, revealing himself to be rather quiet, meek man - certainly far from the sniveling, explosive werewolf he once was. Due to the influx of formerly lost memories unleased by the curing, however, Biske seems to be growing more and more off. He has ceased sleep altogether, catching only a few catnaps now and then, and has become increasingly paranoid.

He was recently healed of his curse by Bryce Larose, though he had murdered in order to do so, and when faced with the justice of the Brotherhood of Janeiro or the local Garou Coven, he chose the latter. However, as he was being escorted by Phaedra, his axe suddenly appeared in his hands and he disappeared into the shadows as easily as any drow. Since then he has been at large, though some claim to have seen him poking about various parts of Myrken - notably, in holes and shaded areas.

* Biske has had his nose broken seven times since his inception - three of those instances caused by himself while drunk.

Original Website Description and Picture

All's Well That Ends Well - a term that fits this sheep child's personality most suitably. Of course he's not some sort of stuffed creature; Wells, as he likes to be called (for he has -two- of them in his name) is, quite obviously, a living and breathing entity.
Born on April 9, 1985, the young Biske was introduced to the Internet at the young, tender age of 11. Like all little spuds, he had more than a passing interest with things like unicorns and dragons and stuff. His first few forays into the realm of role-playing were disastrous, to say the least, but once he figured out what the hell god modding was, things went smoothly.

He roleplayed at Alpha City, a anthropomorphic cyberpunk rp, until he was introduced to the Dagger in 2001. Biske didn't start playing until 2002, starting with the werewolf also named Biske (however, his first character was technically the General). He quickly became hooked, and has played off and on ever since - much to everyone's chagrin.

Besides the Dagger, he also is currently a staff member and player at the ever-popular furry post-apocalyptic steampunk game known as #Vagrant. His current boyfriend is Rance, but he has been cheating on him with Dan, and carries his twin babies.
