'''Captain Milo Smials''', commander of the 203rd Inter-Planar Expeditionary Forces of the [[Imperial Army (Brinen)|Imperial Army]] of the [[Empire of Brinen]], is a proud and loyal citizen of the Empire. Having caught the eye of [[Queen Lorean]] in his younger days, he saw rapid promotion amoung the Imperial Guard before accepting the position of commanding Her Majesty's 203rd Inter-Planar Expeditionary Forces, if just to get away from Her Majesty.

The Empire of Brinen, many centuries before Milo's birth, had completely dominated it's native continent, a feat that many would consider as impossible, seeing as the Empire is in fact an empire of [[fairy|fairies]]. [[Human]]s, [[elf|elves]], [[halfling]]s, [[dwarf|dwarves]], [[drow]], all fell before the rapid expansion of the Empire of Brinen in it's early days. After centuries of fair and just rule, including the forceful end of hostilities amoung several of it's now subjugated races, the Empire is now beginning the domination of the rest of it's native plane of existence as well as expanding across other planes, which is where the Inter-Planar Expeditionary Forces come in.

Crossing the inter-planar spaces, the Expeditionary Forces scout out places that correspond to places back in the Empire on these new plane's, looking for viable real estate for expansion of the Empire.

One such place is [[Myrken Wood]].

Heading the 203rd, Captain Smials and his men (and women) have established a small base of operations high up in a tree in the forest near the [[Broken Dagger (Inn)|Broken Dagger]] and not far from [[New Hibera]]. His troops consist of 90 men in total, forming 3 30 man platoons.

While the Captain and his troops have been quiet in recent months, fairies of different colours and stature to those of the citizens of New Hibera have been seen once more in and around [[Myrken Wood]].

====Appearance====

Captain Smials prefers his uniform to 'casual' wear and is most often seen in it and on occasion his military dress uniform. His field uniform consist of a [[mithril]] breast plate(as the Empire has more than enough mithril from its elven conquest to armour its fairy and [[biglings|bigling]] armies), a fairy [[lonsword]] and black pants with an Expeditionary Forces red strip down the sides, which cover the tops of his black military boots.

Milo himself is tall for a fairy citizen of Brinen, coming up to 6 centimeters in height. Trim blonde hair, vibrant green eyes and large blue wings distinguish the man among his troops, as blue wings are rare, just as albinos are rare among biglings.

McGig:

McGig is the world dictator to be whom currently resides in New Zealand, is up at funny hours to the rest of the world and uses a mac for everything in life except playing computer games(which he uses a PC for, but only that).

With many a varied plans, he plans to one day rule the world in a reign based on common sense and shipping those that disagree to Siberia.

==General Information==
Matsuri Kato was created by [[McGig]] as an exercise in futility one night. What could he get up to with a combination of the old Mage: The Ascension rules and the new World of Darkness core rules. As such, stats do exist somewhere.

==In Character==
Hailing from the same distant lands as [[Elil]], ''Kato'' was at first a rather quite person. She arrived without any real reason at the Dagger one night. When asked a question though, she responded by producing parchment and a piece of charcoal from her sleeves, writing her answer down. Since then, the alert observer might have noticed her using hand signals to hold 'animated' conversatios with Elil.

Recently however, Kato has returned and told Elil of her latest endeavour. Speaking, softly and very easily over spoken, or misunderstood under the din of the tavern's usual level of noise and goings on, she has a soft, calm voice, pronoucing words in the common tongue with precision and no real noticable accent, more a lack of accent.

====Appearance====
Appearing in a aigi, tied and held closed by a hoso-obi, she looks more the part of a lady of court from her home lands, though her garments bare no pattern or designs upon them, as would be expected. Instead, she prefers plain colours, be it white or black, with a blue hoso-obi.

Over this Kato wears a uchikake, of the same colour as her aigi. It's overly large sleeves allow her to keepa multitude of little things on her person, such as parchment, some coal for writing and coins.

On her hip, under the uchikake, rest a katana. The blade's pommel bears a small seal of a wave inside a circle and decorated with two red ribbons. While it's presence is a requirement of Kato's job for the Imperial Court of home, she prefers not to use it, drawing on the gifts the gods have given her, dispite the price they asked for them.
