The region is mostly mountainous, pot marked by lakes most likely formed by ancient glacial movement and erosion by rivers and streams. "The Kingdom of Blue Roses" as some call it, Caldonia is a country beset by political upheaval and vast social stratification. It is famous for it's Caldonian Rose, advanced beer brewing, and high-quality weaponry. The five provinces of the country are [[Westmalle]], [[Talais]], [[Farriol]], [[Sherrydown]], and [[Limberry]]; each itself once an independent kingdom or state, unified just forty-five years previous.
