Born and raised in [[Myrken Wood]], <b>Cordwainer Beucol</b> was better known for the shoes he fashioned for its wealthy elite, than his membership in the [[Order of the All]]; <I>that</i> fact was one that he kept strictly secret. Still, it was to eventually prove his death: in late April of 206 [[Anno Regalis|AR]], Beucol's house was set aflame, and his mutilated corpse discovered at his [[Myrkentown]] business, along with that of his lifelong friend [[Dyer Halfplow]]. Pinned to its wall by a set of crossbow bolts, the word <b>FAITH</b> cut into its bloodied flesh, these cadavers were surely a result of the series of retaliatory slayings that had plagued the [[Order of the All|Order]] throughout that month.
