James Aengus, cousin to [[Richard Aengus]] of [[Old Hibera]] and [[New Hibera]], served as [[Lord Protector]] of [[Old Hibera]] in his older cousin's extended absence in [[New Hibera]].  Upon James's being relieved of the title, he and his wife took to living in relative solitude among the upper-classed fairies of [[Old Hibera]].  The couple passed in 207 [[Anno Regalis|AR]] in a human-brought plague that hit [[Old Hibera]] from 207 to 208 [[Anno Regalis|AR]], being part of a line of deaths (including the Queen of [[Old Hibera]]) that led to [[Oswald Aengus]] taking the throne.
