The religious order known as the Priesthood of the Great Fae was the chief religious affiliation in [[Old Hibera]] and [[New Hibera]] prior to widespread acceptance of the [[Church of Tubbius]] in [[New Hibera]].  Now, the fairies of the two kingdoms are split as to what they believe, with the fairies of [[Old Hibera]] following the older faith and those in [[New Hibera]] following the newer one, primarily at the leadership of King [[Richard Aengus]] and court physician [[Dr. Orin Barrin]].  The Priesthood of the Great Fae, historically speaking, has emphasized vengeance and judgment with a blend of sometimes cruel mischief against non-Hiberans (yet a strong national, racial pride regarding the Hiberan fairies themselves), while the [[Church of Tubbius]] appeals more to self-indulgence, gluttony, and occasional public service and assistance.
