Bracchus: a name that heralds ominous destruction, shaking ground, and, yes, hilarious laughter. Bracchus was an elderly black dragon, unique in that he has two heads and that he is little more than an obscenely over-large bag of a body. In truth, this was the true form of one [[Roderic Cliché]] prior to his coming to Myrken Wood. The dragon developed a love over time for those he once viewed as chewy little snacks, and he, in a fashion similar to [[Richard Aengus]]'s curious investigation of [[bigling]] culture, moved in with them, founding the town of Delamar, Amasynia and soon moving to [[Myrken Wood]] to open up Cliché Toys.

The overgrown lizard never really had the chance to show himself to anyone in Myrken, instead being forced to live as his tubby little elderly counterpart of a toymaker. This didn't stop him from throwing himself into his work as he made use of centuries of knowledge and a few decades of honing his woodcrafting skills as a human. It also didn't stop him from becoming something of a local celebrity to the Myrken children, something that the great wyrm simply glowed over.

At an unknown point in Bracchus's past, he was, in his identity of [[Roderic Cliché]], gifted by similarly unknown elven friends with further mystical connections, becoming the living embodiment of generosity and kindness that is [[Father Winter]]. The powers gained from this further augmented his toymaking skills, his girth, and his jovial, bumbling nature, and it is as such that Roderic befriended one [[Aloisius Treadwell]] and apparently gave his own life to restore and supplement Treadwell's.

The dragon's current whereabouts are a mystery; it is assumed that he has long since met his end, though only one in Myrken currently knows of the lizard's sacrifice, and that one is the current [[Richard Aengus|fairy king]] of [[New Hibera]].
