Captain Choss is the current leader of the [[Nightmare Company]], a mercenary band/horde - depending on whether they are currently employed or not.

He is a massive [[minotaur]], large for even one of his kind, reaching at some point over eight feet - nine and a half, if you count his enormous, forward-curving horns. His face reselmbles that of a fighting bull; his neck is thick and arching, a humped thing, leading into wide, slab-like shoulders and graced with a ridge of a black mane. His muscular arms are relatively long compared to his body, three-fingered hands reaching almost to his knees - his legs, short and crooked, though not less muscular, ending in enormous, cloven hooves. He is mostly hairless, his skin a brown-black; thick, harsh fur grows on his forearms and hooves.

He wears an almagation of leather and steel plate, across abdomen and chest; a massive leather pauldorn and armguard gracing his right, a tattered cloak of fine, blue material across the left. A plated belt holds a modest loincloth of the same blue; his upper legs bare, the lower protected by leather and plate. He carries an enormous sword - as if two serrated blades had been weilded to the same hilt, crossguard decorated with a demon horse's skull, a pair of curling horns twining about the grip.

His voice is a perfect example of his personality - flat and monotone. Far from being the strong, stupid type, Choss is almost frighteningly intelligent and cunning - which is how he got to be the Company's leader in the first place, being far, far underestimated.

Currently he and the [[Nightmare Company]] seem to have parked themselves in Myrken's forests, and Choss can almost always be found with his lieutenant, [[Daffodil]].
