== History ==

To be said of Devon is far too much to be written without the compellation of chapter upon chapter, literal volumes of experiences. This is an attempt to give any who so desire to understand, somewhat of a glimpse into the pain which has created such a mysterious and magnificent artist.

An artist ever, his outlook upon what has become of his existence, not his life, is best described as melancholic. You currently listen to what is considered by he and any holding knowledge of his true self, to be the all-encompassing description of his life, though be it without words. Years ago, in another realm now long destroyed by a great catyclysm, Devon was a member of an elite organization called the [[Vampire]] and Kin (V&K). One of the three founders, along with his [[sire]], Viper, and his [[chylde]], Belle. His accomplishments within this organization are so many as to be as numerous as the grains of sand upon a beach. However, Viper has not been seen for two years, and Belle is long-since dead, the victim of a truly chaotic [[demon]] who was once an underling of Devon's. From this point on, with the loss of these and many other dear friends, a single tear has remained frozen upon his cheek within time, able to be touched, though unmoving to any attempts to do so. A writer and musician, he was embraced into the [[Clan of the Rose]] originally because of his infection of black-plague, in a desperate attempt to keep him alive. He was recently kidnapped for an extended period by an order of planes-walking knights of order, under whom he has trained for the past 5 months. Devon now bears this episode of his many-faceted story upon his form in the form of a velvetine hooded-robe.
