+It's not entirely clear how Karie had gotten to the Myrken Wood or the Broken Dagger tavern. Her origins, beyond that of Elverquiste, are shrouded in mystery. The only thing she ever mentions is where she was born. The Myrken Wood is where she sprang up at many, many years ago. She met a slew of characters (not many I remember), endured a great deal many large events as well as something that altered her as a person.
