When it came time for her to choose combat training as was custom, she chose training to be a ranger because she figured it was much easier than learning advanced sword fighting, or any soldiering type profession because that would be far too much work running around in the sun and getting tired and sweaty. Talking with animals and sneaking around in the woods was the better choice for her.
