* Three black beasts attacked a ranger outside of the Broken Dagger. Two were killed and the third fled to the forest. The ranger's only commend was that the creatures are killable. ''1/1/04 - Submitted by Madel_H''

* A commoner woman by the name of Eurestella was witnessed beating the corpse of her dead infant upon the hearth of the Broken Dagger -- witnesses assume madness was the reason for her actions, driven so while in captivity of Audmathus. Khalika was attacked by the woman only so long for the commoner to fall, and die before Khalika's eyes. ''1/1/04 - Submitted by Rance''

* Word has it that, in the search-party sent to do away with the dark elf Audmathus, the lady Thorn has already fallen into death by the black elf's hand. Further rumor has it that her body has been seen in visions at the Broken Dagger, during non-business hours.

* A Myrken night erupted as a mob of demons were unleashed into the town. There were somewhere from six to seven dozen reportedly scene, and most if not all were killed by the Order of Straka and brave townsfolk. Few were injured, and fewer were killed.

* The demon Seranos was witnessed outside of the Broken Dagger battling Solena, who was aided by Pyra and Tehridel. The fight appeared to be a very life or death struggle, and preceded the eruption of demonspawn after the demon escaped in defeat to a village church.

* Several farmers and caretakers have reported an unusual rate of decay in bodies, harvested goods, and tavernowners have complained of their stores spoiling far faster than usual.

* A 'spiritual sinkhole' has been detected around the church were Seranos had fled to by any magically or spiritually inclined.

* Rumors of a creature moving through the town and killing the demons, but leaving townsfolk unharmed, have been circulating heavily. Descriptions vary from a dragon-looking monster, while others have said it had horns or tentacles or ember-trailing wings.
