His time as Captain was rather chaotic - he always tried to uphold the law to the word, even when (especially when) such decisions were highly unpopular with citizens and other officials of Myrken Wood. Forces in the [[Judiciary Council]] especially resisted his authority, ultimately leading to his resignation and the disbanding of the Order.

Robert was an orphan whom Thomas befriended at an early age - so much so that Thomas' parents decided to adopt Robert, and though they never called each other by it, Daniels and Sullvian treated each other like brothers for the rest of their lives.
