Larana
Information

Background

So smoothly the lies come when it's all you know. For fifteen years, Larana has run from one life to another while taking on new names and hiding from people who once cared for her. Below her is no job, including assassin-for-hire or prostitution; though she's more likely to choose either of these professions when there seems to be no other way to make some quick money.

Skilled with a dagger and familiar with poisons of all kinds, she uses these methods to protect herself or to eliminate her target. She has little experience in combat situations and will run from confrontation before facing an opponent head on. Someone is less likely to become a target if they get to know her (or get to know who they think Larana is) but this will not cause her to think twice about weaving an elaborate story instead of giving them the truth no matter how close her relationship becomes.

Prior to her unsavory life, Larana knows nothing of her past nor does she bear a surname.

Description

At 5'5" tall, Larana is hardly intimidating with her fair skin and normal build. Trying to remain as inconspicuous as possible, she keeps her normally fiery red hair dyed black which ends up leaving it looking a deep purple in the sunlight or well lit rooms. Pin straight and reaching the middle of her back, she tends to keep it tied up in a simple black ribbon that was stolen from someone who once considered her a 'friend'.

Larana tends to keep her dark brown eyes averted from people, often using her thick, chin-length bangs to hide behind. She tends to dress in tones of brown or black depending on what her plans are for the day and sticks to a simple pair of non-descript pants, loose fitted, untucked shirt and soft leather boots or sandals.

She carries two very plain well-balanced, yet mismatched daggers, hidden on her at all times for work and protection if needed. One has a crest of silver embedded into the handle with the letter 'S' on it though she couldn't tell you what it stood for regardless of having always been the owner. Along with her weapons, she usually has several corked wood or metal vials with her that are filled with an array of self-made liquid or powdered toxins.
