Jerint
Information

Jerint is an elderly man who appears to be in his late fifties or early sixties. he has short-cropped black hair, shot through with white and grey, and often goes for days before shaving, thus leaving a field of black-and-white stubble across his cheeks and chin.

He is a well-built man, about six feet tall, still managing to maintain a muscular figure - though he has a noticable pouch to his midsection. His face is heavily lined with age and his skin is leathery and tanned from exposure to the elements. He has a square jaw and chin, wide cheekbones, and a crooked, roman-shaped nose. He can be seen wearing common, peasant clothing, with a coat of a deep, rusty red.

His left leg up to his knee and thigh is strapped into and confined by a bronze brace, which presumably aids him in walking - though, oddly enough, there doesn't appear to be any way to remove the contraption, and in fact appears to be attatched -into- the man's leg. Whether he's able to walk at all without or, or if it is indeed the source of the man's limited mobility, is anyone's guess. Either way, he appears to be at least in discomfort, if not outright pain, most of the time he's up and about.

Another oddity is the completely tame rabbit that appears to be attatched to the old man - a thin, starved-looking thing of bone and whipcord that nevertheless bears the scars of numerous encounters with cats, dogs, hawks, and other, wild rabbits. It's own brown fur is also peppered with grey, and seems to live in luxury on a diet of leftover food and whiskey. Though he is certainly affectionate to the animal, the rabbit appears to have no name given to it.

Jerint has been a semi-hermit of minor noteriaty in Myrkentown for some time. His farm contains a small plot of farming land and a byre and field for cows, though he currently keeps only one crotchety she-goat for milk and cheese and a mule for transport. What he grows he either consumes or saves; but sometimes he'll makes the trip to Market, or to the Broken Dagger for a drink and a friendly word. Not much else is known about him.

Recently, his own health, the drought of 205 AR, and the Insect and Drow invasion of 206 has proved harsh for the old man, destroying much of what he has tried to grow and leaving his prospects for self-sufficiency and independant living rather slim. He has already received multiple requests from the Church to retire into their care, which he has been able to politely rebuke so far.
