- Following rumours of the Myrken Militia's involvement in the death of Pritchard, several of its members have suffered beatings at the hands of vengeful mobs.
- Other rumours about the death of Pritchard circulate as well; one that the demon, Kamageroff, was secretly responsible.
- The attack of a rock troll upon The Wall is fended off by Lothbury agents, but only barely; subsequent explosions leave a gaping wound in The Wall that is the width of three men laid foot-to-head. Lieutenant Kilborn is later informed, and the gypsy Khalika Quiller heads off in pursuit of the fleeting troll, with warnings of further orc infestations in the area.
