Furt is a city in Amasynia.  Furt began as a small town of only a dozen or so families, but has since expanded over the generations as its main produce of paper has become its most demanded produce and export.

Furt is a port town on the north coast of Amasynia.
Furt sits along the edge of a wood, a town that has grown and still grows more in length than in depth as it stretches to accomodate new millers.  Over the years, the forest's edge has receded with the logging done therein.  As the forest is hewn back, the town's center pushes in to follow the dip it creates, causing an almost crescent shape to both the town's shape and the forest boarder.

In 189, a proposal was put forth in the town to change the name from "Furt" to "Crescent", but was not approved as the oppositioners stated that the new name would seem to derrogatorily point out the "scent" of the town.  Those in favor of the change claimed nothing could be worse than calling a papermill town, which inherently smells of fart, "Furt".
