How you view sixteen-year-old Agnieszka Kaczmarek depends completely on which side of the civic spectrum you're on.
Is she the ungrateful, unmarried, obnoxious girl leeching off her long-suffering relatives and getting in trouble with that sword she always carries around? Or, is she someone to admire, someone who wants and works hard enough to make the impossible happen -- in this case, turning an insolent farmgirl into a capable fighter?
Either way, people tend to decide within minutes of meeting the girl, who has a tendency, like many her age, towards angst and overconfidence. Calling her hot-headed is a mistake; she's merely as stubborn as a mule and as driven as a con artist with a quota.
