Channe Carter is K's first character, active for six years on DALnet and retired after a short time in the Broken Dagger environment.
Born to a fairly rich family in the Trae Kelsan city of Saro, Channe rebelled at seventeen and fled the city to pursue the life of a wandering musician. Not having fully thought through where she was going or what she planned to do, circumstances ferried Channe into various and sundry negative situations before she married her third husband, Deverax, and trained as an independent healer. She had some small magical ability, but rarely used it outside of her medical duties.
