Channe Atrahasis is K's first character.
Born to a fairly rich family in the southern Trae Kelsan city of Saro, Channe rebelled at seventeen and fled the city to pursue the life of a wandering musician. Not having fully thought through where she was going or what she planned to do, circumstances ferried Channe into various and sundry negative situations before she married her third husband, Deverax, and trained as an independent healer. She had some small magical ability, but rarely used it outside of her medical duties.
When her husband, son, and daughter were murdered in the family's service of the empire of Elementia, Channe went into mourning for five years before eventually surfacing in Myrken Wood, renting a small house while weaving cloth to keep herself afloat.
