The Red Caps are a cluster of islands located in the Sea of Amasynia, north of the mainland. They function as an alternative port option to ships hailing from the East.

History

While most tradeships and military vessels use the estuary of Foggy Bottom to gain access to the continent, many other ships passing over the peak of New Dauntless and on to the Hexal Isles anchor at the Red Caps for refreshment of their supplies. Extant ports on the Red Caps are not sanctioned or recognized by the Amasynian government, an apathy which has invited pirate operations to rely upon the Caps as their central hub. Though there are various peaceful fishing settlements, there are an equal number of disingenuous locales as well, many of which thrive off Eastern slave trade, stolen goods, and intercepted materials.

For many years, Jernoah has held contractual agreements with enterprising pirate communities in the Red Caps to traffic slaves and other goods across the sea.
