Damien is an interesting fellow who has visited Myrken Wood on several occasion. He's a man of many things - most notably, greed. And trouble making. He had been known to be charming on rare occasion, but more often than not Damien spends his time in persuit of big payoffs or epic battles - especially the battling part. He loves fighting more than anything else, and won't hesitate to jump right into the fray.
These two persuits combined have created in Damien a Dragon Hunter, and a rather successful one at that.
Appearance
Surprisingly, Damien is awfully short. Standing at just around five and a half feet tall, the lithe frame of the little man hardly strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents. The way he smacktalks usually just makes them angry, too. He's otherwise pleasant to look at - unpronounced features, a straight nose, a narrow chin usually framed with a clean-cut beard. Damien has short, straight brown hair and just off-matching eyes.
With the success of his hunting ventures, Damien has taken a liking to dragon scales - usually in the form of custom-fit, made-for-maximum-movement armor with the brilliance and flair of the majestic beasts' scales. He's also taken a liking to necklaces strung with their smaller teeth, and other trophy-esque proofs of his accomplishments.
Other Description
What's remarkable about Damien is the weapon he's most fond of - the ranseur. A six-foot one, at that. While utilizing a polearm that's taller than the wielder even in close-combat situations seems awkward at best, Damien pulls it off perfectly. An expert with the weapon, the man can utilize the ranseur like two weapons in combat, and has also been known to use the polearm in acrobatics that, especially in the close quarters of the Broken Dagger, are pretty amazing.

History

In Myrken Wood
The start of Damien's Dragon hunting career began in Myrken Wood, just outside of the Broken Dagger - a young pup had wandered into Myrkentown, and Damien capitalized - killing the creature and taking the remains to sell. When he realized the small fortune he had made on just a small dragon, Damien knew it was the business he needed to be in.
The rogue was also active in Audmathus' first venture on Myken Wood. He sought out the Drow, though, unlike the rest of the population, not to apprehend or kill - but simply to fight. Damien tracked the Drow's movements for sometime, eventually coming to save the Drow from the guillotine's blade - destroying the apparatus with a shot from a magical crossbow that Damien had had constructed earlier. The rest of that fateful day was history - the rogue had fired from a rooftop just next to the watching shadowdemon, Pharris, in plain view of a significant number of guards from the Order of Straka.
In the resulting chaos, and with the aid of others, Audmathus escaped. Damien was shot and tumbled off the rooftop, not to be seen again for a while...
Current Status
