[[Maxwell Bishop]] and [[Kerrak al'Nerun]] both wanted Biske to pay for his crimes in the [[Myrkentown Gaol]], but [[Gerard`De`Santiago]] declared that the [[Judiciary Council]] was corrupt and thus so was the law - he wanted to take Biske to the camp of [[The Hand of Myrken Wood]], where he would be judged "fairly". Several prominent people, both bystanders and not, orbited the scuffles that took place, including [[D'ran]], [[Ariane Carnath-Emory|Ariane Emory]], [[Sithis]], [[Dias]], [[Braunwyn]], [[Mikhail]], [[Cinnamon]], and [[Terregothe]]. An attempt to steal away Biske by Gerard`De`Santiago was made while Bishop was engaged with Mikhail momentarily, but it failed when soldiers from the [[Brotherhood of Janeiro]] surrounded the place. Biske was confined in the Gaols, refusing even medical treatment, and Gerard De'Santiago returned to his camp after promising Biske that The Hand would help him.
