Zaliah Labrum

The Labrums were a family of magic, leaking through the heritage from their great grandparents to the younger siblings of the family. Or at least, that's what her parents were stubborn to believe. She studied long and hard to become the apprentice to the magician family, to be even treated as an equal when it came to her elder siblings.

Her twin had fled to leave her a she buried herself into her work. If it was the last thing she'd do she'd outshine the elder siblings, Zaliah would restore the order of the love the family once shared. It was one night her elder siblings approached her with a deal, if she were able to successfully tan her skin an olive color by magic they would step down from their god-like places and let her twin and her be welcomed into the family once more.

She spent many nights studying until the time was there. She had all the ingredients, all the words mesmorized all she needed was the gift. That night everything seemed to be leaning in her favor until that last spark. She saw the spark of blue emit from the spell and thought nothing of it. The spark lit across the sky. It pleased her to see her siblings eyes pop out of their sockets for a second she thought the world was in her hands.

Then she noticed that smirk that Carthus and Shailie gave her, that chilled down her spine. With a sheer corrupted giggle they told her..the mistake she had made.

Now she was blue, literally blue. She ran away distraught hoping to find comfort in her twin sibling that had left weeks before.
