Janis Williams is a hard-working woman and always has been. She took up the sword with the Order of Straka when she was old enough to, and trained with them until the day they effectively disbanded under Captain Thomas Daniels. She's skillful with a blade, though she enjoys no particular reputation for it.
Somewhat of a recluse, Janis spends much of her time studying and practicing the Arcane Arts, for which she's developed a particular affinity for. Recently, she's been looking into the darker of the arts, in hopes of finding means to protect Myrken Wood from its new enemies...

Janis has shown herself to a be a resourceful woman, finding her way on many strange investigations and tasks for the Order of Straka - including the personal safety of the late Joseph O'Cynen during the time when the Baie was rumored to have targeted the Councilor.
Fortunately, unlike the former Captain Daniels, Janis has stayed discreet in her dealings around the Broken Dagger and other highly anti-Straka areas, hardly earning the recognition of those who frequent those places, let alone the ire and sour reputation many officials enjoyed.
Current Status
Janis would remain in her position as a guardswoman - whether it be the Order of Straka or the Brotherhood of Janeiro.
