Maxwell Beauregard, a native of New Dauntless, was a tall, stout man with a serious personality committed to the law. His typical appearance included snug-fitting, blue waistcoats, cloaks, and matching breeches with a gray powdered wig atop his otherwise bald head.
Term as Governor
Governor Beauregard is revered as one of the last great leaders of Myrken Wood despite his having been born elsewhere; having moved to the province in 141 and having been elected to the Governor's seat after two years, he led the town through a blizzard known as the Blight of 143 and doggedly tried to discover, unsuccessfully, the identity of a serial killer known only as Voltore.
