* Grand disturbances in Myrkentown, with angry crowds incited to rebellion against Governor Helstone by fiery rhetoric from former Councilor Suede Roschen and former Governor Altias Bromn. The crowd marched upon the interim Meetinghouse led by forces from the Brotherhood of Janeiro under the command of Captain Karolinger. In what is becoming known as the Battle of Haberdasher's Row, the Brotherhood forces clashed with members of the Myrkentown Constabulary defending the Meetinhouse under the command of High Constable Calomel. The skirmish ended in success for the coup with the ousting of Coriolanus Helstone as Governor, and left a number of Constables dead and many more seriously injured, including the High Constable. The Brotherhood forces are reported as having suffered negligible injuries in the assault on the interim Meetinghouse. --majic13 12:30, 29 April 2007 (PDT)

April, 2007 -- Current Events

 • An attempt at peace between officials is graciously provided by Madame Cambree Swinton when she hostesses area nobles for an evening Tea Party. Tensions merely increase, however.
 • Rumours are dispersed, implicating foreign cutthroats in the deaths of the thirteen Militia members. The remaining detainees are soon executed in a manner consistent with this rumour. -- Carnath-Emory 12:49, 21 April 2007 (PDT)
 • A minor conflict between Brotherhood members and some twenty men of the Myrken Militia escalates swiftly into violence, upon the sudden murder of Brother Swentin Jacobs. It concludes with the death of thirteen of the Militia, the detaining of eight more, and a report sent to the desk of the Brotherhood's commander, Aeryn Karolinger. -- Carnath-Emory 12:49, 21 April 2007 (PDT)
 • Twenty men were found slaughtered in Myrkentown, approximately one half-mile from the marketplace. Several of the slain match the description of known highwaymen and other violent criminals. A sword of excellent quality and apparent foreign make was left at the scene. --146.82.111.234 13:33, 15 April 2007 (PDT)
 • The Myrkentown Tea House is called upon for use as shelter for victims of dangerous rioting, which has rendered the business closed temporarily. Staff and help is limited, and medical help is in demand, as they try to treat those who suffer with injuries. Governor Altias Bromn has helped to increase security for the small building. Meanwhile, The Rememdium Edificium attempts to save more lives with their own batch of hacked and beaten townsfolk.

Deathwatch

The Deathwatch: making a life in Myrken Wood is rife with hardship and danger; not only must you deal with privation, hunger, and mage-induced bad weather, but, as an NPC, you are always in danger of being killed for the greater good of the players. This page is dedicated to all the NPCs who have died in the service of the daemon of Plot Advancement. May their memories remain bright!
