Major plot events in which the character has been involved.
Aloisius Horatio Treadwell, aged sixty-eight, has led one of the most confusing lives of any of Myrken Wood's patrons, temporary or permanent.  His time in Myrken Wood began several years ago when he left his birthplace of Westenford, Amasynia, and it all started with his secretly impersonating dead governor Gad Phuri shortly after his arrival.  As deception turned to truth, and after Treadwell was freed from a brief stay in the town jail, he found his calling in Myrken to be the same as it was back home.  He entered Myrken Wood politics, having already been entrenched in political life from his time at home.  Having been the only child of Octavius Treadwell that his father had really cared for personally, the former Chief Magistrate of Westenford, he had ultimately followed through with Octavius's insistence on going into his father's line of work, and Aloisius was able to weasel his way into a council seat there, beginning as a mere Clerk of Court and working his way to the top of the Council.  In Myrken Wood, Aloisius used his brash, forceful personality to work his way into the post of Councilor for Administrative Sanctions for around a year before a temporary disappearance.

+
From the end of A.R. 205 and well into October of A.R. 206, a man claiming to be Treadwell reappeared in Myrken Wood; that man was Richard Aengus, fairy king of New Hibera.  In short order, the revelation that Treadwell was supposedly a fairy from the very beginning caused the Myrken Council to lay claim on his house and to the toy shop he had inherited from Roderic Cliché, claiming that a fictitious entity, a disguise for a visiting fairy king, could have never held them.  It also led to his wife Raylan taking their infant children, Nicholas and Arella, and leaving Myrken Wood.  However, in October, A.R. 206, a very much human, life-sized, and angry Aloisius Treadwell was teleported back into Myrken Wood, claiming vehemently that he had been held as a sleeping prisoner, a victim of daily concentrated doses of Fairy Dust, as punishment for eating a roasted fairy during a meeting of the Westenford Ruling Council.
+

+
Otherwise, Treadwell's life has been littered with problems--some familial and some magical.  From the re-emergence of his sister Elizia and her daughter Elizabeth to his first divorce from his wife Blanche and the disappearance and reappearance of his daughter Babette, to the above trickery played on him by Richard, Treadwell has led a life that has occasionally had him wondering his place as man and father.  In addition, this onetime actor turned politician, toymaker, and priest once held, like Roderic Cliché before him, a fleeting, temporary place as Myken Wood's own mythical persona of snow and jolliness, Father Winter--a persona rapidly being forgotten by the populace.
+

+
Over time, Treadwell has mostly cut ties with Westenford, instead focusing his efforts and attention on Myrken Wood.  On November 6, A.R. 207, Aloisius married his fourth, hopefully final, bride, the former wife of his cousin, Bartholomew.  Alice Olivia Chopin Drivel, after a whirlwind of a courtship lasting a little less than a week and hastened to such by assistance from the fairy magic of Richard Aengus, ended up at long last acknowledging her past split from Bart Drivel by turning around and marrying her new love, Myrken's toymaking tax collector.  Alice since ended up pregnant, having their children in the end of August of 208.  Funnily enough, the happy couple shares their birthday: June 1, 145.

+
At of the end of December, A.R. 207, the group of devoted Tubbians from Westenford made a mass exodus to Myrken Wood to seek Treadwell as their new Lord Tubbian, their spiritual leader, a position that he has since accepted wholeheartedly.  However, the title of Lord Tubbian is more of local significance to any group of Tubbians, and, through divine assurance and support, Treadwell has taken on papal significance for the Church of Tubbius through the role of Tubbius Regalis, thus becoming the leader of the combined church of Tubbius in Myrken Wood and Amasynia.  His devotion to such has led, apparently, to his becoming a gradually increasing source of minor miracles, from increasing food and drink supplies almost on demand, to some ability to change his own shape (a talent unrevealed to the Myrken Wood public as of yet), to some (so far) basic healing abilities.  Faith, it seems, is a potent, newfound part of Aloisius Treadwell's new life.
+

+
Treadwell has maintained his status with the Tubbians for the last nearly four years.  This has led to the growth of the Church and of its members; the already rather portly Treadwell has continued to fatten up considerably given his time leading the Tubbians.  Privately, he has found a personal connection to the deity he worships, supporting the claims that he is the great Tubbius in mortal flesh but telling no one but his wife and his followers of such.  He's already thought loony enough by Myrken Wood; why ought he give anyone more to think of him?
