Several prominent people, both bystanders and not, orbited the scuffles that took place, including D'ran, Ariane Emory, Sithis, Dias, Braunwyn, Mikhail, Cinnamon, and Terregothe. An attempt to steal away Biske by Gerard`De`Santiago was made while Bishop was engaged with Mikhail momentarily, but it failed when soldiers from the Brotherhood of Janeiro surrounded the place. Biske was confined in the Gaols, refusing even medical treatment, and Gerard De'Santiago returned to his camp after promising Biske that The Hand would help him.
