Known primarily as Octavius Treadwell to his friends and political accomplices, this fellow served not only as the willing adoptive father to one [[Richard Aengus]] needing a credible backstory into life in [[Westenford]], [[Amasynia]], but he also served to establish the Treadwell name in politics, rising, like his adopted son, to the position of [[Chief Magistrate]] of [[Westenford]].  He held very much the same corpulent frame as every other Treadwell male (and every one of the Aengus males, for that matter), so it was, in many ways, an ideal fit for [[Richard Aengus|Richard]] to ease right into this family accepted and largely unquestioned after sufficient memories were magically tampered with to ease into his thirty-one year lifespan as [[Aloisius Treadwell]].

He utterly despised his son's original career choice as an actor, and he revelled in the fact that said career was brought to a thunderous stop when Aloisius crashed through the floor of a stage in the middle of a performance.
