Ariel O'Cynen is the only daughter of the late Joseph O'Cynen, and the heir to his estate. Though one of three children - the sister to two brothers, Jacob O'Cynen and Stephen O'Cynen - Ariel was the one the follow in her father's footsteps, and Jacob and Steven insisted she take over the estate. So, she did.
Though Ariel is young, few dispute her courage and wisdom. It's not hard to see that she was given her father's wisdom and reason - the same that had on more than one occasion stirred a tumultous council meeting back on track, or rallied the people of Myrken Wood in self-defense.
Appearance
Ariel is a small, strong woman. Though she has picked up her father's attitude, it is much more her mother she gets her looks from. She has beautiful, soft features - considering her status, Ariel could have easily just been a pretty noble, untouched by work or duty. Her hands, however, though small, are well-calloused and bear a scar or two from the learning days of the more dangerous farming tools. Though far from the size of Joseph O'Cynen, Ariel has benefitted from the years of intense labor on the farm.
Not yet seen thirty years, Ariel is a odd mixture of youthful energy and solid wisdom - these are the first qualities depicted in those eyes of hazel that matched her father's. Framed in golden-blonde hair, Ariel O'Cynen is a pretty woman and a beautiful farmer.
History
Ariel was born in Myrken Wood and has lived her whole life within its borders. She has traveled to the some of the neighboring territories, but infrequently and never for long. She's been farming since she could hold the tools, under the careful guidance of her father - now, few can say Ariel O'Cynen puts any less effort into the soil than they.
Ariel sat in for her father in a couple council meetings, usually with a similiar voice. Under the shadow of her father and even in his passing, Ariel has been building up a great reputation and respect among residents of Myrken Wood, especially in the farming community. Many have come to see her as a solid, respectable voice for the people.
Current Status
Ariel is active in Myrken Wood's farming community, putting most of her energy on keeping agricultural aspect of the territory alive, despite Myrken Wood's constant plagues and hauntings.
