Niall is a young teenager. She looks to be no older than sixteen, and possibly younger. In truth, she herself has no idea. Not the most attractive girl to begin with, her appearance is not enhanced by the scars that track down the left side of her face. Her hair is an odd color - brown, for the most part, but it fades to ivory at its tips.
She is almost always clothed the same way - sturdy trousers over a pair of boots, a linen shirt with a leather vest. Always she wears a scarf knotted around her throat and fingerless gloves upon her hands. Combined, this leaves her face as the only visible skin about the girl. She used to carry a sword, but lately has been seen without it.
Rather sullen and taciturn by nature, the girl lives with the sorceress Kyra. Her only friend seems to be the squire Elliot.
