Founders of the #Broken_Dagger are basically the head of the Channel Operator Hierarchy.

Although the title makes it sound as if the Founder created this entire place, this is not true. The reason that title is used is because it is the title granted to the registrant of a channel on IRC. So, when an old Founder departs and a new Founder steps up, the nickname to which the #Broken_Dagger is registered is changed, therefore there is a new Founder.
