Background
Minah is the only daughter of a rich merchant family that did a lot of trading in items like silk, metals, and rare food items. When she was 16 her parents decided that it was time to get her properly settled into a marriage that would bring them the most return on the investment of raising her and fitting her up to be a proper lady. As it was they decided that the best return they were going to get was going to come from the family of Oliver Killian. They brought her to a ball to meet the boy for the first time and she was most definitely not interested in getting married even a little bit.
At the ball, Oliver turned out to be a young man dressed in a silly powder blue frilly suit and covered in makeup, as upset about this union as she was and after the mortification of introductions he asked her to dance and then ran with her out of the hall. After Oliver had bathed in a decorative pool to get the makeup off, they went off to have a drink and decided that it was perfectly acceptable for them to get married because they didn't hate each other, but that they were going to give their parents a run for their money or in reality run with their parents money.
The day after they met they exchanged vows together, he gave her a coin in place of a ring and she gave him a necklace, and they spent a week pretending to their parents. On their wedding night everyone at the reception including family, guests, servants, staff, and anyone else present had a toast to their future happiness and every one of them blacked out from the drug Oliver had slipped into the drink. Once everyone was unconscious they stole all the gold, jewels, and wealth they could carry, took all their parent's money, stole one of his father's ships and started off on their new lives as pirates. A captain was hired at first to show them the ropes of running a vessel and they posed as newlywed merchants. But after a while Oliver took over as the captain and they hired on a new crew, Minah took on the role of his first mate and they have spent their time since then being pretty well directed by what they need to do, desire to do, and where the ocean takes them instead of being controlled by the parents that they fled.

Tall for a woman Minah stands at nearly six foot with long wavy black hair that runs a little further than the middle of her back. Her body type is lean and athletic with the kind of structure that comes with being a swordswoman.
Normally Minah is found wearing a great deal of leather because it wears well on the sea and because she used it in place of armor while fighting in close quarters. Black leather boots with silver buckles, black leather pants fitted tight, a black leather vest with silver buckles that she tightens with strips of leather and a blouse beneath it that normally have wide collars with embroidery around the edges. Normally she doesn't wear jewelry except for a single platinum ring on her ring finger, the ring is actually the coin that Oliver gave her when they exchanged vows and they had it hammered out later into an actual wedding band. Though she doesn't wear necklaces or jewelry of that kind, Minah's hair is filled with gems and precious metals all woven through the strands, some on thin braids. She has gathered some of them on her own but most of them have been placed there by her husband throughout their life together, he enjoys trying to sneak them into her hair when she's sleeping.
The only weaponry the woman wears are dual scimitars on her hips, worn in sheaths with the leather worked with designs and well used over years of pulling her swords. Normally she also carries a dagger in a sheath at the small of her back under the vest as well.
